Under the poor management of Executive Director Daniel Bannon and the poor management of the Head of Food Services, I cannot recommend this facility to others. They MUST GO. Also, charging ANYTHING for Tray Service for daily meals should NOT be allowed and demonstrates that this facility purposely works understaffed, which is also illegal according to state & local governing bodies and operating laws.

This is a resident friendly community. Many fellow residents are pleasant and caring, as is the nursing staff/physical therapy staff?

This is a horrible place to put your loved ones. This company forces healthcare workers to work short staffed with extremely high patient ratios per employee. Your loved one will not receive the care they are paying for and they will not be attended to at a timely manner or a happy attitude due to high stress levels

I have lived here for 12 years. My husband lived here for 3 years before he passed away. Brookdale Lisle made it easy for us to navigate his illness with comfort and safety. I am now enjoying that comfort and safety and I am happy.

Brookdale Lisle has gone above and beyond to accommodate my 97-year-old father in the independent living facility. They are always helpful and ensure that he is comfortable. We as children are very thankful that he is in such a good place.

We moved my in mother a little over a month ago. Their help and services have been wonderful, making this transition for her seamless. She is still adjusting to her new environment but is making many new friends, and getting used to community living after being in her own home for over 50 years. They provide many opportunities for her to participate in group activities and to use the transportation services to shop and get to Doctor's appointments. We have been very pleased with Brookdale Lisle so far. Their staff is friendly and very helpful. Her apartment is clean and comfortable. Although this has been a bit challenging for my 90 year old mother, it is a great solution overall and I would highly recommend Brookdale as a Senior living facility for an elderly parent.

Dad is in independent living at Brookdale and is getting excellent support on an as-needed basis. The staff is friendly and enthusiastic about helping residents. Dad’s wife is in the skilled nursing facility and she is getting excellent care from dedicated staff. We are so happy that we found Brookdale.

Diana and the Brookdale team were extra helpful in every step of the process, from front end explaining the facility operation, to welcoming my 97 year old father, to ensuring he is well taken care now as a resident. Highest compliments.

I wanted to share my experience with Brookdale Lisle because it has been such a positive experience for my entire family! We moved my Dad from his home in Florida to be near family. However the adjustment wasn’t easy for him because family members work and some winter elsewhere. So between his 1st winter weather issues of not being warm enough to having lots of down time with his working or absent children (I winter in AZ)-this first winter wasn’t easy to say the least. But the Activities Director Lucy and her Assistant, Kim have been amazing by personalizing my Dad’s experience. At first he was reluctant to involve himself in activities. But Kim took him under her wing and got him signed up for outings. Then, he signed up for woodworking class-now he looks forward to that! He has met so many nice new friends because of the activities. Lucy recently made sure my Dad had cupcakes and balloons on the outing that fell on his birthday! Our family couldn’t celebrate with him until the weekend, so this special treatment on his special day meant so much! Here is another example of the activities staff being amazing: Recently, my grand daughter wanted to share Easter ornaments that she made for the residents for her 1st Communion service project. Lucy met her at the door and took her to my Dad’s apartment to surprise him! She also made Hannah a beautiful certificate to turn in to her teacher. Lucy made this so special for my grand daughter and my Dad! I love that Hannah will grow up so happy to visit her Great Grandpa and share joy with him and his friends. She played piano and did a cheerleading demonstration for those gathered in the main room. Lucy took photos and shared them with our family and posted them on the Facebook page for all to enjoy! I love how the Activities staff create personal touches for residents. A+ Brookdale Lisle!!! From a very grateful daughter!

This Community is everything I expected, and then some - it has additional activities. It's a Community that is very protective of it's residents, doing what's in their power to keep us all safe, at all moments. Another positive note , is how they strive to keep us in contact with our families, whether it's virtually, or physically.

I was a resident at another Brookdale location for two years and thought I would get the same high quality of service here in Lisle, boy was I wrong, what a disappointment. The food service is barely edible and the dining experience is of such poor quality that I pass on meals. I think that THIRD WORLD COUNTRIES have better internet and TV service. It seems like whenever you ask for assistance there’s an additional charge. The last straw was when I asked when the heat portion of the temperature control would work, I was told to buy a space heater if I needed heat, hardly something you would want a facility of aging seniors to experiment with. I am severely disappointed and am beginning the search for more accommodating facilities where you are treated like a valued customer rather than as an inmate.

Managers are rude ! They have fruit flies. Staff will serve with dirty silverware if its busy. They dip water pictures into the soup that has been handled through multiple shifts to serve residents! they will question your ethnicity! residents food is prepared without using gloves!

The staff at Brookdale Lisle work very hard to keep the residents safe and happy. 2020 was a tough year and they did everything they could to keep the virus out while making sure the residents had some interaction. It is clear they care about the people there which is so important.
