Lisle Lanes is an old school bowling alley with a well-kept 90s vibe. The lanes are great and kept well, providing a great time and a wonderful experience with a cool atmosphere. Staff are friendly and very nice, with reasonable and decent prices for bowling and the bar. The food receives mixed reviews. The French fries, onion rings, and chicken tenders are standard fried food, nothing special. However, the pizza is notably bad, with a funky tasting sauce and suspicious cheese. On busy days, the food service can shut down early, and policies include no outside food or beverages and a charge for rental shoes during kids tournaments. Some find the lane oil pattern too long and heavy for hooking the ball. Despite some criticisms, many find it an exceptional place for bowling.
