This is the worst post office ever! They don’t deliver my packages or my mail and it’s always a problem!

Still trying to pick up a certified letter that was started being delivered 7/17. Been to the post office 2 or 3 times as they said to come back in the evening. Supervisor had me sign so it can be delivered. Still not delivered. Will go again tonight to see if anyone has it. Waste of time.

Today I had a pleasant experience at the Lisle USPS. The counterperson was exceptionally friendly and polite and my issue was resolved. I had stopped going to this, my local post office because the treatment I received from the workers was abominable and threatening. Hopefully this is a new crew, new start.

The absolute worst post office. Everyone in there is so rude and my packages are also lost or not delivered on time!!! Just incompetent people!

Terrible. They say they take passport photos but they don’t. Only one staff working, and the other was on break (not lunch break, just a chill break) with a long line waiting.
Terrible.

Review of USPS Mail Service – Lisle, IL
I typically don’t write reviews like this, but after ongoing, unresolved issues with my mail delivery, I feel it’s necessary to speak up — not only for myself, but also to inform others who may be experiencing the same.
Since moving to Lisle, IL, I’ve had continuous problems with my USPS mail carrier. On multiple occasions, my mail has either not been delivered or delivered late. Even more frustrating, I have now experienced three separate instances where I placed outgoing mail in my mailbox, attached a clear note requesting pickup — and not only was the outgoing mail left untouched, but the carrier also removed the note and stuck it on top of the mail, leaving everything behind in the box. This has happened repeatedly, despite me following proper procedure.
I’ve contacted USPS Customer Service several times — at least five — and I’ve been told the issue would be escalated. Unfortunately, there has been no resolution, and the problems continue.
I am disappointed and beyond frustrated. All I am asking for is consistent, respectful service. As a resident and a paying customer, I believe it is reasonable to expect basic reliability and accountability.
To others moving to or living in Lisle, I urge you to keep a close eye on your mail. If you notice any unusual delivery patterns, act early and document everything. Hopefully, enough voices will create the change this community deserves.

The lady who works the front desk is so rude and unprofessional. I have actually no idea how this woman still works here, she tried fighting someone in the parking lot once after they battered back and forth, she has a HORRIBLE attitude and represents the postal service terribly. Also, to add she yelled at a pregnant woman and made her walk around the building to drop mailers off? I will not return and neither will my co-workers.

The worst customer service imaginable and I go to many post offices. Lazy rude African American women with attitude that if they worked anywhere else would be in the HR office being let go that same day. If only I could try customers as rudely as the workers here at this location do and still be able to keep my job. Not that I’d want to do that, I was raised right with good parents and I’m not an asshole. Close this place or fire and replace the staff with people who want to be there that try to do right by their customers for something as simple as being gracious and sociable at minimum

Holding my mail because my mailbox is “too far off the curb” when all the others are the same distance. Makes no sense.
Also their mail carriers create massive holes in the grass in my community because they drive their trucks right over the curb for blocks at a time. Horrible.

in all of my past and current experiences the employees gave me attitude and act extremely condescending if you need any type of help, just horrible and rude for no reason. they act like they're doing you a favor even if you're nice to them
update may 9th 2025
I don't know if the nice lady working today was a manager or supervisor but she made sure the employees on shift were nice for once so I added 2 stars to my review. I surely hope the same 3 ladies who people have been complaining about are getting re trained or replaced in the worst case scenario

I always avoided this place, worst experience with high wait times. I dreaded doing anything at the post office. Now this place is almost deserted. It was empty, no one bothers to come here and they only have one employee at the front. It's about time they shut this place down. Considering the place was empty of a weekday morning (only one customer and one employee in the building), I would say the era of the post office is over.

Disorganized and Non Responsive. Our office building here in Lisle has not received mail on a regular basis for the last 3-4 weeks (note, the mail delivery employees are normally always polite and professional). This has not only affected our business, but many others within the same building. When attempts are made to call the post office, we are either referred to the post master with no follow up or given minimal insight by rude and/or disgruntled employees. If you are in need of a nearby post office, I would recommend dealing with the Wheaton Danada Square location instead.

According to the woman behind the counter they are “out of money orders.” Giving one star since USPS is so horribly under-supplying this location! I’m sure they would never say that just to not have to deal with the hassle. Right?
