It's a lot more difficult now to go to the counter to order a cake or pick it up because since covid Walmart has let so many people go that there's hardly ever anyone at the cake and bakery counter. Before you used to be able to just walk up there and tell him what kind of cake you wanted by looking at the pictures and just kind of exactly what you wanted and then it was great they always came out great and they still are great The taste is good whatever you order usually comes out exactly how you order it if you order a 1 year old's birthday cake they will even give you a smash cake for free that was a total surprise for me I had no idea that they did that and it looked just like the cake that I ordered which was baby shark it was just a little smaller and the perfect size for him to literally just grab and smash it into his own face and mouth. The only thing that I will say is that ordering online is just not the same they do not have all the options on their you can't request anything special you can only get what is shown and that sucks because it's only about 5% of the designs that you can walk up to the counter in order from a book that has everything in it and has tons of designs and it's just not the same anymore. I really wish that they would update the app and put more options on there to take pictures even of the book like have a section where we can type exactly what we want or where we can even just talk back and forth to the person from the bakery whenever we are ordering online that would be awesome. And you also cannot order the day of you have to order at least 3 days ahead so for you procrastinating humans please note that.
Kid-friendliness: They only have about like maybe 7 designs for kids cakes nothing for teenagers nothing for adult males nothing trendy online but if you go in and order in person you can get about 80% more than what is shown online. But if you try and do this be prepared that no one's going to be at the counter because they're not there working unless they have an order to make. Most of the time I have to ask the people at the deli counter to go in the freezer and get my cake that I order.

well, the other day, I went to this Walmart with my husband and let's just say I needed a good ol back massage when we got home. I was very stressed to say the least me and my husband bought a little gingerbread house just to decorate and have a cute little date night with my hubby and we got home and my entire thing was shattered. We even chose one from the back so that it wouldn't be completely shattered and it really just ruined my whole night and I just it was a really rough experience for me. I don't know that I would recommend this for anyone. If you're going to this, Walmart, I do not recommend buying the gingerbread house boxes because they do not handle it with care and honestly I think I throw that stuff around. I just don't understand how all of them could be broken and it was in the back every single piece inside of the box was completely shattered. It wasn't even just a couplecouple of them. We knew it wasn't a coincidence. I just don't even know what is this economy come to? Anyway also when we were there, they were a bunch of kiddos running around and making ruckus. I was pushing my cake that I just got made in the Walmart bakery. I was just simply pushing it in the cart and this little girl she comes flying through the aisle and pushing her friend in the cart and smacks right in my cart and breaks the cake that I just got my yada sit there and yell at these kids I mean really the employees need to get on these kids because I'm trying have a nice experience at a designer store and honestly I don't even know if I can do that anymore. I am a Canadian and I am moved to America so that I could have Walmart. I just don't even know if it's worth it anymore. Thanks everyone have a splendid day from your favorite Canadian!!!

Me and a friend were walking around just lookin at stuff and in the bike section there was a ball laying on the ground. I pick up the ball like a good amount of people would and just bounced it a few times. Wasn't throwing it or anything just bounced it back up to myself a couple times, then a worker comes up and tells me "This is a business, not a playground." I don't know when but I guess the "fun police" just decided to start working here as this has happened multiple times.

We were on a long road trip and had stayed overnight in Litchfield, largely because that's where we were after a long day of driving. After a good night's rest, we were pleased to find that this Walmart was nearby because it allowed us to stock up on some provisions for the next leg of our journey. In addition to some groceries (deli meat, cheese, corn on the cob, etc.), we also found that they had an excellent selection of items for our upcoming camping and backpacking adventure -- including lightweight but hearty freeze-dried meals such as lasagna, beef stroganoff, and chicken fried rice (that were surprisingly tasty but expensive), a water carrier for the campground picnic table, and bamboo skewers for roasting marshmallows around the fire! We found everyone that we had come in for, and more!Parking was plentiful and free. Staff were pleasant. The check-out line in the morning was short. Finally, the location was close to a gas station so we could fill up before continuing on our journey north.

I ordered zero sugar Snapple. I'm a diabetic and have to be extremely careful. They did not give me the zero sugar Snapple. Unfortunately I did not realize this before drinking one. It tasted different to me and I fell asleep almost immediately afterwards with my blood sugar and at too high. I unfortunately have learned not to depend on anyone else. I'm still not 110%.

If I could give zero stars I would. I have been to many Walmarts and this one is one of the worst. Workers are very rude and inconsiderate. Workers do not greet you, no thanks given and unfriendly. The online order pickers act like you don't exist, won't say excuse me and will straight up just move your cart out of their way. Had one move my cart away from me with my purse in it. I said "oh I'm sorry", she said nothing. They don't program any of their produce into the system. So when you are forced to do self check, because there are no actual checkers, you can't scan any produce, you have to type every code in. If you do try to scan a piece of produce, you need assistance. Then you just get told very rudely "you have to type in the code", nothing more. Just extremely poor customer service. I will not be stopping at the Litchfield location anymore. Gave them a few chances, I'm done.

When we travel, we like to stop and stay in Litchfield on the way Up North. We always stock up at this Walmart. Lots to choose from on this Exit. We have been staying in Litchfield for the last 5 years and always look forward to when we make the exit for a night's rest.

Horrible customer service. This is my local Walmart so I frequently shop here but I have tried to get my check cashed from work here 3 times and have had been turned down each time. I even called to make sure when they stopped services they tell me 9:30pm. So I drive over each time on payday and I barely make it before they are closed the last two times I made it 5 minutes before and then 4 minutes before and they told me I was too late both times. Also one of those times I was in line on time and had to wait my turn. So ok my husband called today to make sure what time we hurry over get there about 8 minutes until 9:30 and they said it wouldn't read my check she only tried it twice and seemed to be in a hurry and got really cocky once I explained what had happened to me the last two times. If I keep having these problems every time I come to customer service I will no longer shop here or online. I don't even pay my power here because it is too much hassle each time.

Horrible customer service. My family and I had to get a couple of things in the electronics section, where they lock things up behind the glass doors. Some headphones and also an audio cable for myself. And an iPod for my Sister. We bought extended warranties and everything behind the electronics counter.. everything went fine.. until we went to one of the self checkouts to finish shopping for a a couple things we picked out after we were done with our electronics shopping. There was a worker there keeping eye on the self checkout section that was extremely hostile in her tone of voice demanding that we show her our receipts for the items that were already in our bags that we already purchased. Mind you, this is for things that we had to have someone behind electronics open up for us with a key. We had no way of getting them ourselves. I simply told the person, "We just bought these." This person was further rude to us acting like we were supposed to know their policies. I would rather pay a few extra dollars for a stop at a friendly mom and pop store than have to deal with unpredictable and unfriendly customer service. I would hope that someday people take a stand to Wal Mart and not shop there. It won't happen. But one can dream, I suppose. I for one am going to try and stop somewhere else or shop online than go to this Wal Mart in Litchfield, Illinois. You have been warned.
