First, I would give negative stars if I could. This pharmacy has proven to be the most incompetent pharmacy I have ever dealt with. I have received my prescriptions from this location for years and their level of service has increasingly declined. Over the last few months I have had issues refilling prescriptions I get regularly. They send a text stating they are waiting for my doctors approval despite the fact I witnessed my doctors office calling in the prescription. I call the pharmacy they say they will fill it, then I get a text stating they are reaching out to my doctor to prescribe a different medication. I call the pharmacy and they say the prescription is expensive and they are asking my doctor to prescribe something different. I remind them I have a coupon for the prescription. Then they fill it. I'm constantly going off and back on my medication because of their inability to be consistent in filling it. Today I went through the whole circle of events all over again. They tell me I need an updated coupon. I get the coupon. They tell me they are waiting for my doctor's approval. I remind them my doctor has called 3 times already this week. They run it and now they don't need my doctors approval, but my $25 prescription will now cost $550. Then they tell me to hold on, I hold for 10 minutes and they hung up on me. My husband is on the same prescription, same insurance used the same coupon and same doctor. He has never had to get a new coupon. They told me my coupon was only good for 3 months yet I've been using it for 7 months. I am absolutely over this pharmacy and their poor service. Update: I just called the CVS in New Lenox (Maple Street location). The pharmacist explained my doctor needs to call CVS Caremark (prescription insurance) and answer a couple questions. THAT is the doctors approval they need! Not one time did ANY of the 3 people I spoke with at Lockport mention anything about my prescription card. Thank you to the New Lenox location. Lockport, sounds like you need more training not just in customer service, but how your whole system works.

This is the most awesome CVS ever. Whenever I go in here, I am constantly greeted by the staff who are all very, very friendly. The manager had a Christmas stocking cap on the other day, and was smiling and talking to everybody. They always ask me if I need anything, and regardless of how embarrassing whatever it is I am after they help me out with it and keep a straight face. If you can't get along with the people here, then I'm not sure what you are after. The pharmacists are always nice to me. I get all may vaccinations here. Rock on Lockport CVS!

The best part I will say about CVS is that it's so much easier to book appointments with CVS than trying to schedule one with an actual doctor or physician. This place is clean and easy to navigate. Prices here are fair too. Overall it's your typical location.

ZERO Stars. Good riddance CVS!! Lockport Pharmacists/techs think they can override a surgeon's prescription for patients. Not okay to say no to an approved prescription and then after us informing pharmacist patient was just discharged from hospital and Needs prescriptions they decide to only refill half of approved prescription! Tell us they are only approving 1 week with no explanation. Then trying to refill the '1' refill left since They held back half of medication they have the nerve to tell us Dr must approve it Again!!! Really!! No half of the original prescription was already Fully approved a week ago! Not another penny will ever be spent in CVS after this unbelievable experience!

since switching my prescriptions to CVS I have had nothing but trouble. prescriptions never ready. Every month they have to call dr for refills and I wait to hear back from CVS and never do. When I get new insurance I am finding a new pharmacy!

Good location Good staff, ample parking Nice store layout easy to find what you are looking for Has minute clinic in store for minor medical care. Nurse practioners are very good at taking the time to give good exam for medical issues Good selection of merchandise here

Crazy lady does covid tests here, go anywhere but this CVS. Claimed that I blocked her number and tried to pull me out of my car upon arrival. Go to Walgreens down the road.

Terrible pharmacy. Screw up your prescriptions on a regular basis, then back it up with an extremely rude staff! The store part itself and that staff is fine. The pharmacy is completely unorganized and rude. They are the best promotion for Walgreens!! Avoid this mess at all cost!

Sorry, but fix your hours online. Yes, you have control of this. I make a quick trip to pick up a prescription. Waste of time as the posted hours online are incorrect. They also call you almost daily to see if you're ready to refill your prescriptions. I bought shampoo a week ago and I'm bald. Pretty sure I won't need a refill for at least another week.

This cvs location has dispensed me the wrong medication 2 months in a row! I even have an alert on my file on what medication I can take. Not once, but twice they dispensed me medication that I can not take. If they did this to me 2 months in a row even with an alert on my file, what else are they doing wrong. The 1st time I realized it 5 minutes after I left the pharmacy and I brought it back, the pharmacist yelled at me and shook the bottle of pills at me yelling at me that it's the same medication I take and that there's nothing he will do about it and to call the head pharmacist in the morning. The next month I was given my medication and it was checked at the counter and when opened, yep it was also the wrong meds. Be careful and make sure you are given your correct medication.

I used to be a Walgreens loyalist my whole life, but with the location here in Lockport being constantly overwhelmed (at least in the pharmacy), CVS has taken it's position as my "go to". The pharmacist and staff are all super friendly and helpful, the store is laid out well and is easy to maneuver and their prices are hard to beat (provided you sign up for their free loyalty card). Great selection of healthy snacks/beverages, too!

The personalities of the staff here are amazing! I can always count on them to not only help me find randomly m items, but to do it with sincerity. Holidays are always a joy with costumes and humor. Honestly though, I'll be making a ghillie suit out of the receipts I get next Halloween.
