If I could leave no stars I would. I had an appointment with minute clinic they are horrible unorganized and definitely do not care about the patients. They were running behind I waited for my appointment almost an hour, for the nurse practitioner to tell me they don’t take my insurance card, even though I unloaded my insurance card wayyy! before my appointment just to be sent home; plus the nurse practitioner working Thursday 10/30 was very unprofessional and very rude to me, such a waste of time definitely will not be going back.

I come here all the time and the staff is always SO nice! Anytime I need help finding something they are always there. I was shocked to see the low stars so I needed to make a review. Thanks to CVS Lockport staff for always being friendly and extremely convenient :)

First, I would give negative stars if I could. This pharmacy has proven to be the most incompetent pharmacy I have ever dealt with. I have received my prescriptions from this location for years and their level of service has increasingly declined. Over the last few months I have had issues refilling prescriptions I get regularly. They send a text stating they are waiting for my doctors approval despite the fact I witnessed my doctors office calling in the prescription. I call the pharmacy they say they will fill it, then I get a text stating they are reaching out to my doctor to prescribe a different medication. I call the pharmacy and they say the prescription is expensive and they are asking my doctor to prescribe something different. I remind them I have a coupon for the prescription. Then they fill it. I'm constantly going off and back on my medication because of their inability to be consistent in filling it. Today I went through the whole circle of events all over again. They tell me I need an updated coupon. I get the coupon. They tell me they are waiting for my doctor's approval. I remind them my doctor has called 3 times already this week. They run it and now they don't need my doctors approval, but my $25 prescription will now cost $550. Then they tell me to hold on, I hold for 10 minutes and they hung up on me. My husband is on the same prescription, same insurance used the same coupon and same doctor. He has never had to get a new coupon. They told me my coupon was only good for 3 months yet I've been using it for 7 months. I am absolutely over this pharmacy and their poor service. Update: I just called the CVS in New Lenox (Maple Street location). The pharmacist explained my doctor needs to call CVS Caremark (prescription insurance) and answer a couple questions. THAT is the doctors approval they need! Not one time did ANY of the 3 people I spoke with at Lockport mention anything about my prescription card. Thank you to the New Lenox location. Lockport, sounds like you need more training not just in customer service, but how your whole system works.

This is the most awesome CVS ever. Whenever I go in here, I am constantly greeted by the staff who are all very, very friendly. The manager had a Christmas stocking cap on the other day, and was smiling and talking to everybody. They always ask me if I need anything, and regardless of how embarrassing whatever it is I am after they help me out with it and keep a straight face. If you can't get along with the people here, then I'm not sure what you are after. The pharmacists are always nice to me. I get all may vaccinations here. Rock on Lockport CVS!

I always come here and this is the first time the drive-thru lady drops the phone and leaves saying “ I give up” like cmon I need my medicine.. if your having a rough time stay at home or let someone else answer.. I literally had to scream at her my name and still said she couldn’t hear me like cmon your not old your in your 40s be polite and don’t leave people hanging there ..

Would put 0 stars if possible. Tried calling to check the availability of my brothers prescription and was literally yelled at on the phone over a miscommunication. When I repeated myself the lady rudely hung up on me. I work in customer service and can’t imagine reacting how this lady did over a small miscommunication.

Terrible customer service for such an important role in healthcare where people are dependent on delivery of medication for their well being. Uncaring, unprofessional, incompetent and rude employees at this CVS location in Lockport.
