We’ve traveled cross country a few times since retiring and usually stay at Holiday Inn Express. This was one of our best experiences. We were greeted at the front desk - very friendly. Sue was wonderful. When she thanked us for being IHG Rewards members, it felt sincere. She offered a dinner recommendation that we followed & it was just what we were looking for. The hotel was spotless- everywhere. Our room was clean and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was hot & ready. Sue checked us out- again- friendly & helpful. She’s an asset to your company.Rooms: Our room was spotless. All lamps and outlets worked! Plenty of outlets for charging all our devices! Beds were comfortable!Nearby activities: Plenty of restaurants nearby.Safety: The elevator required a key- which gave us a level of comfort.

I confirmed with the site prior to booking that their pool was open. When I checked in, I saw a sign posted that the pool was closed. Got to our room and the blinds were broken. Switched rooms and the vents were blowing both warm and cold air. Switched rooms again. Same issue. Cranked the temp to 76° until it was warm enough in there and then it wasn't so bad. Very frustrating that the pool was not open since that was the deciding factor to stay there.

I received outstanding service in every respect and want to especially thank the following people who made it so: Sue at the front desk was friendly and helpful in every respect. The room was exceptionally clean made so by Gracilia in housekeeping including flowers for the tissues and to. I had a wonderful breakfast prepared by Kristin! Thank you for the great service and hospitality!

This was the 1st time at this location and Louisa and Sam were very helpful. Welcoming, informative and polite. The room was clean, bed was awesome! I felt like I slept on ☁️ ☁️ clouds. Heated pool was great and relaxing after a few stressful days! We are members and will be back when in the area. Thanks again!

The greatest..cleanest...most professional hotel you can find in 2023!!! I came in after driving for days. They welcomed myself ,my wife,and my dog with open arms. Patty at the front desk took great care of us. kind, understanding,, a true professional. You guys rock!! Thank You for making my stay safe and affordable. I will return and I highly recommend!!! Thank You!

I am an IHG member and, as a result, have stayed at my fair share of Holiday Inns, but this one was the BEST one I have ever stayed at! The rooms were amazing. They had pristine, polished, and we'll laid out bathrooms and fantastic beds along with sleek furniture and enrapturing artwork. But, the crown jewel of this fantastic hotel is the breakfast. The breakfast was amazing, it was the best Holiday Inn breakfast I have ever had and was run by Sue who greeted everyone that entered the breakfast area. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the lovely city of Lockport, IL!

Stay here two nights for a wedding. The place seems new and well maintained. Our room was comfortable and very clean. Everything seemed fairly new. The staff were friendly and efficient. Hot breakfast options were very good. Location is very convenient, especially to a local wedding venue. There were multiple weddings this weekend so the hotel was filled with guests. The people in the room above us came in each night between midnight and 2 am and banged around for over an hour each night. The floors are thin, like an apartment. Ask for a 3rd floor room if you stay here.

We had an excellent stay at this holiday inn. It was extremely clean. The staff was amazing. Huge shout out to their hands down MVP: Sue! She is the best employee I’ve ever come across any business. She puts her 100% into her job and truly made our stay the best. Thanks to her, the breakfast at this place was the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had!!

I cannot say enough about my stay at this hotel! All of the employees were absolutely amazing very helpful and friendly and accommodating! I plan to make this my home away from home when I'm in the Illinois area! An extra shout out to the front desk people Louisa, Matthew, and Patty, the kitchen girls Isabella and Sue and the maintenance guy Jim and all the amazing housekeepers! You guys are killing it! I highly recommend staying here when in the area versus anywhere else!

Super clean rooms. Convienent location. Friendly staff. Breakfast was good. They had a delicious blueberry compote to top your waffle or oatmeal.I'm probably sensitive to light, but the occupancy sensor and the smoke detector strobe were problematic mounted over the bed.Safety: Desk staff made a point to tell how the elevator was secure and needed your room key to get to guest rooms. That's excellent. But, there was no such restriction on the stairwell. Not a problem, but if going to secure access to a location they'll need to make an adjustment there.

Luisa at the front desk was super helpful and made our stay pleasant. We had a baby shower and had people come back to the hotel. She helped out with all of our requests with warmth and a smile and took care of all of us. She went way above her job duties to make our day special. Thank you Luisa!

This hotel is the cleanest hotel I've stayed at in years. It's new, only 2 1/2 years old. The service was great. Breakfast was awesome - their egg white veggie omelets are delicious. 24 fresh, hot coffee. Very nice and quiet. Just a great hotel experience. Highly recommend this hotel. Would definitely stay here again.Rooms: Our room was very clean and comfortable. The air conditioning worked great. Several pillows on the beds. Love the Dove shampoo, conditioner, hand soap and lotion provided by the hotel. Made our trip easier as we were there for a funeral.Safety: Felt safe and comfortable throughout our stay.Food & drinks: Breakfast was awesome! Egg white veggie omelets, fresh, hot hash browns, make your own pancake station, oatmeal, cereal, biscuits and gravy, sausage, fruit, yogurt, juice, coffee, water, milk. Great variety.24 hour snack and pop pantry. A great convenience.
