I went this evening to the store in York Town and I they gave me the best customer service. Omg the 2 on duty needs to do a class on customer service. Thank you for your patience and assistance.

Walked in the store to buy my son some new shoes. We were the only people in the store and there was one worker there. He was on the phone laughing and joking with someone. Now I don't mind if someone needs to take a call or something but he completely didn't even acknowledge us. The prices we pretty steep but I did find a shoe I would have bought however the worker was talking on his phone and completely ignoring us so I had to walk out. I went down the hall and bought a pair of shoes from a different store. I feel bad for whoever pays that guy to work at their store.

I went to this store with my daughter and she tried on a pair of converse high-tops. The employee brought out a size 1 for her to try. I actually had him confirm the size 1 was a good fit. They didn't have them in stock so he ordered them. At that point I felt he would know the size since brought them out and also cofirmed the sizing with us. Well he ordered a 13. So now Journey's tells me my only option is to return by mail and wait for check to be sent for my refund OR drive to a store which is about a 30 minute drive to return. Both not great options. If you shop here and they need to order to be shipped, be sure to check the size they order or be prepared to spend lots of time completing a return.

The manager at this location knew exactly what I was looking for she was very sweet to my kids and she was playful and made them happy too I believe her name was alisa or Lisa she was great I will definitely be back and hope she takes care of us again.

When visiting the kidz store I was looking for a pair of vans that would fit a size 5.5 for myself since the adult store sometimes doesn’t have my size. When walking in the 3 employees gave me an uncomfortable stare . They did greet me but it was just awkward when I approached the van wall also comparing prices to the converse wall . The young girl was hovering I could feel her watching me and it made me uncomfortable .When I found the shoe I wanted I asked if she had that size she comes back with my size but with 5 others probably as an upsell technique. I didn’t open the other 5 boxes I only opened the shoe that I wanted . And the young girl had a rude look on her face because I didn’t touch the other boxes . I finally go up to the counter to get processed they asked for an email and I didn’t feel like they needed it . So I opted out she kept trying to get my email when I asked for a receipt she said that they only give email receipts . So I said you don’t have paper receipts like really she looked at me and said nope and went in the back . Will go to other journeys locations from now on

Ruth helped me and she made my experience at journeys kids so much better. She was kind, brought out so many options and made me feel super comfortable! Definitely recommend!
