This was my favorite local Ace location, but I can no longer go into this Ace location. They have a cat on the sales floor. I did not see any signs on the door indicating there was one inside. For someone with extreme cat allergies this is not acceptable. I was inside for like 5 minutes and my nose and throat started to close up.
Please post a large sign on the entrance doors warning of a cat. So people can prepare themselves accordingly.

This store is awesome. I have never had a bad experience. I always get the product or help that I need. Everyone is helpful but Sue and Karl are exceptional. They are why I love shopping local small businesses.

Extremely disappointed in this store today. My mom went to go get 2 bags of dirt and a bottle of ammonia. She asked if someone would please help her get the bags of dirt into her car, normally this is never a problem, however this time she waited 20 minutes and went in and asked for help 3 times each time being told someone would help her. A worker came out to help someone with the propane tanks. She asked them and they told her someone would be out as they walked away quickly. Understandably she gave up waiting and tried to get the bags herself. She tripped over some concrete and fell down with the bag on top of her. Thankfully an older gentleman (A customer) was coming out and saw her and helped her get the bag off her so she could get up and put the bag in the trunk. Somehow she got the second bag into the car.....Still no employees in sight! This is the last time we will be going to this Ace

RIDICULOUS PRICES !!!!!!
How can a Compression Spring that I purchased at the Villa Park Ace for .79 cents be $1.19 at this Ace Hardware. That is BEYOND RIDICULOUS !!!!!! It is the exact same size spring and supplied by Hillman at both Ace's. Ofcourse they said that Hillman dictates the cost which is a CROCK ..... the photo is from the Villa Park store for Proof ....
