Are they going out of business? There is no store anymore and only one mechanic. Pretty sad. Years ago, I used the one in Streamwood for everything.

I already replied t the survey I received by email. However, I will write it again here. First of all your coupon system is useless. For wheel alignment , your system says
"$10 OFF WHEEL ALIGNMENT
with coupon*
*Offer and coupon expire 3/31/25. Valid on 30-Day & 1-Year/12,00 Mile Wheel Alignment. Limit one coupon per customer. Not valid on commercial or fleet vehicles. No cash value. Cannot combine with other offers or discounts. Terms apply.
So I print the coupon and gave to your person and he said, that coupon applies only if I pay $220. If that is the case then why you are displaying wrong information with the coupon.
Your $110 and $220 wheel alignment has same description . Only difference is warranty 30 days and warranty one year. It does not say that you are doing anything special on one year warranty wheel alignment or what you are not doing in the 30 days alignment.
I always receive a color printout after the wheel alignment. I did not receive that from Lombard on that day. When I asked, he said printer not working. Then how I know that wheel alignment was done or no.

The guy in the front does not want to work. I came in for new tires at 5:45pm while no other customers were there. The establishment closes at 8pm and I got denied service. ( The worker in the back told me he can install them over the phone but the salesperson in the front denied it saying they are closing ). I went to firestone down the street and while they were way more busier the guy sold me new tires and had them installed before closing.

I left. Was quoted either an incorrect price, or one that was inflated by the store. I got the battery I needed elsewhere for about 60% of what Pep boys quoted.

I only gave 1 star because I cannot give 0! I went into pep boys in lombard and needed a new battery. I ended up paying $346!!! I thought that was an enormous amount of money to spend for a battery but I couldn't shop around. I found a $20 rebate (which I sent in after) and a Free Installation Coupon, but they said I wasn't allowed to use because my battery was a hard install, even though the exclusions only said hybrid/electric cars and any car that took longer than 30 minutes. Mine did not take more than 30 minutes and not electric or hybrid! I called corporate a couple of time and they said someone would call me back and it turned out that Ike from the same pep boys and same person I dealt with called me back. He stood his ground and said I could not get free installation which was $79.99 but he would give me $50.00 off and not the $79.99! I told him no thanks and he said he would talk with his boss and call me back. I got a call today and the guy said they could not honor the coupon. I said ok and hung up! I never paid this much for a battery! Ridiculous!

I called and spoke to the guy at this pep boys explained i live 3 hours away and I needed a patch he said to come and now apparently they are closed because everyone left it's now 6:45 pm and they close at 8 pm. Wow pep boys definitely screwed me over.

I took my car to Pepboys on a Sunday with great expectations that the work be completed right and I would be on my way. After about 4 hours my vehicle was ready. I drove my vehicle home. An hour later I came outside and saw a puddle of transmission fluid on my driveway. I drove my car back to the business it was closed. I left my car there and caught a Uber back home. I missed a day of work on Monday only to have to deal with the Ass. Manager Paul who definitely needs to improve his customer service. He treated me like it was my fault that my car wasn't fixed right. When I got to the store to retrieve my car Paul was on the phone. I waited for Paul to finish his phone call and I walked over to the counter. Paul was going through paperwork ignoring my presence. Another gentleman came from the back and offer to assist. The moment I started telling my situation now Paul wants to be helpful with an attitude. The guy that assisted me was a manager from another Pepboys. He handled me like a manager or a great employee should. Paul needs more customer service training. I was the one who missed a day of work because my vehicle wasn't service correctly. Paul was very insensitive to my needs especially since I had already paid for "quality" service that I didn't receive and missed a day of work. I am thankful for the assistant manager Christiana who showed courteous professionalism. It is because of the visiting manager and Christina that I would return to Pepboys again.

I never write reviews but this was just a terrible experience. Whoever this ike guy in charge is rude, unkind, and did a terrible job. I don't understand how they were unable to look up my phone number in the system. Was not a fan. What should've taken 30 minutes took one hour. And I am planning to drive another 7 miles to get my tire aligned next time. Unbelievable

Came in to swap my 22s for 17s and get tires mounted and balanced told them to take tpms out of old wheels and put them in the new sets and they completely ignored the fact I told them this. When putting old wheels in the back they just threw them in there and broke the plastic in the back holding my tweeter in place

Unfriendly, unprofessional and confusing service at the desk.
Fumbled around with my corporate coupon and tried to overcharge me by discounting the service but not the part; a difference of about $60. I am a woman but thankfully, not an idiot.

I paid for a year's alignment at another of their branches, when I arrived at this branch they demanded that I have the invoice or ask for it at the branch I was in, they scheduled an appointment for me for alignment and when I arrived on the day of the appointment to do it they informed me that the machine had been damaged for several days and since they were going to assign me an appointment when it couldn't be made, it seems to me a lack of respect for customers who take their time to carry out their maintenance.
