Stayed for 3 days Friday through Monday and I enjoyed a peaceful restful weekend. The hotel serves a reasonable breakfast that I considered a good start for the day.The front desk team also provided an efficient, excellent and professional customer service.Thank you ??!

I’m not sure what Everyone giving bad reviews was expecting. Is this hotel renovating? Yes. Are the rooms dates and worn? Yes. Is the warm breakfast just like every other 3 star hotel? Yes! But is this the cheapest rate you’ve ever paid for a 3 star hotel?!? YES!! Was Ernesto the best front desk employee at a hotel I’ve ever met?! ALSO YES!!!! Am I asking and answering too many of my own questions?! Oh yes. This hotel was perfect. Extremely clean. Great water pressure. Sure the elevator made some weird noises but the breakfast was good. Eggs. Sausage. Oatmeal. Vegetarian yogurt. (Rare) waffles. Bagels. Muffins. Cereal. Coffee. Juices. Good stuff. The price can’t be beat.HOWEVER, if you need to sleep in, maybe don’t stay here while renovating. They start work early. I’m sure the prices will go up soon once the work is done. A great place at an amazing price. I’m almost didn’t book it because it seemed too cheap. I’m so happy I did. If I ever need a place 30 minutes from Chicago, this will be the place.Tell Ernesto I said hi!!!Rooms: The room is dated and worn. But very clean and very comfortable!!Nearby activities: So close to everything.Safety: Bright parking lot. Easy to park near the front. So it’s safe as it can be for a Chicago suburb.Food & drinks: Nothing in the hotel but everything you can think of within 5-10 minutes.

Worst experience ever. My sister and I booked a accessible room. We both have bad knees and need the higher toilet and the grab bars and accessible shower. We checked in and went to room. It was not cleaned. They would not clean it. Put us in regular room. We were stuck because it was Memorial day weekend and rooms at other hotels booked. Did not give discount or any other compensation. Very bad customer service. Would not recommend

Good neighborhood, friendly staff, very affordable. Good breakfast. Try Greek Islands restaurant next door for excellent meals. Always club/restaurant short drive away has great food also. 2 lovely parks not far away for walks.

Nice location with plenty of shopping and resturants near by. Overall area seems safe. Hotel lobby and room were clean and tidy. Staff that checked us in were super nice. Room clean but worn down. Furniture corners and edges worn off. It seems sturdy and has life left so maybe some paint or varnish. The mattress managed to be hard as a rock and sunk in at the same time. Housekeeping has the loudest vacuum ever and woke us up. Like almost all hotels there's no soundproofing so be prepared to hear neighbors. We were in this area for an event and i got a good deal thru a 3rd party. I would stay here again for sure if in this area. If I was coming to chicago downtown I probably would not stay here even tho it's s good price because of how far it is and public transportation takes about 3x as long as driving. We come from southeast of the city so this place overshoots downtown chicago by about 20 miles.Rooms: A bit outdated and run down but clean and serviceable.Nearby activities: Lots of shopping and resturants nearby. Area feels safe.

Shabby accommodations. The bathroom sink was clogged. The veneer on the bathroom cabinet was ripped off in three places. The room furniture was beat up and looked like it came from a second hand shop. There weren’t enough convenient outlets and the outlets they did have were a tangled web of cords and splitters. I’ve always had good experiences with Best Western properties but you can be sure I won’t be staying at a SureStay Plus ever again.Rooms: Shabby. Crowded with second hand shop furniture. Bed was hard but fine. Pillows were those silly half-size type.

Rating based on expectations. Don’t be fooled this is a 3 star hotel that punches above its weight class in some areas and falls short in others.Likes.Location: convenient to everywhere. Easy highway and toll road connections without all the noise.Lobby: super clean smelling. Furniture very cheap (think stylish plastic) ample chairs and tables with charging points.Reception: quick easy no hasslesStore: all the basics for purchase.Elevator: noisy but efficientHallways: clean slightly wornRooms and furniture: surprisingly clean and surprisingly worn. All the edges show extreme wear. CLEAN CLEAN!Beds were soft and comfortable no lumps zero stains, rips, or wear. Quiet.Parking: clean orderly and plentiful. Lighted -felt safe.Breakfast: included. Basic inexpensive. Acceptable but nothing special. Clean! For a vacation heck no. For a work/family trip it was fine.Staff: pleasant helpful never intrusive.Acceptable.

While traveling internationally, we stayed here, and the following morning, we drove back home. It was incredibly convenient, the staff was helpful and welcoming, the room was clean and well-maintained, and the breakfast was delightful. All in all, it was a pleasant experience.

Do NOT stay here.... Someone stole things out of my car. I called the hotel, they never returned my call and the Manager told me "kiss my ass." I will be calling corporate awful customer service, not safe and rooms smell.

The reason I did not give them 5 stars, I was a bit upset regarding the "free" breakfast. I had to stay here just for the night because of a mechanical issue at my home. I must have misunderstood the hours because I thought breakfast was until 10:00 am. Went there at 9:15-9:30 and everything was closed up and juice machine that is left out was not dispensing. Only coffee, hot water for tea, and regular water available! I asked what the breakfast hours were and was told "6:00 am to 9:00 am 7 days a week!"I chose this location specifacilly for the price including breakfast. Most places usually have extended breakfast hours on weekends. Very disappointing in this regard, otherwise everything was good.Noteworthy details: I've have traveled a lot and most places do have extended breakfast hours on weekends because most people are on vacation or stay just the weekend to get some extra R&R!

OUTSTANDING! I usually do not write reviews of places I stay unless it is so bad that I consider it a public service. I have stayed here about 8 times over the past year or so. Here is what makes this place work for me; It is the consistently excellent service, accommodations and overall good vibe that I get from staff, and I mean all staff. All smiles and warm greetings. I would been happy with staff that did not have scowls on their faces most of the time and did not treat me like an annoyance. This property is an excellent value. It is usually under a $100 per night. with that you get friendly staff no matter what time of the day its. Clean, fresh smelling rooms. I am the type that will look behind furniture and on top ledges to see if things are really clean. I have never regretted the inspection here. The furniture is in good shape. the bed is well made and the bedclothes always look brand new. The bathrooms are immaculate and towels and sundries are arranges as a presentation. The rooms look as good if not better than the photos on their website. The lobby is inviting and very tastefully decorated. Additionally the free breakfast is great! a lot of variety attended by professionals. The overall appearance both interior and exterior are well kept and really shows that the owners have pride of ownership and staff have bought into that as well. This is clearly a hidden Gem. I'm almost afraid to share this place with others. This establishment has been consistently excellent for the last 2 years that I have been staying here. my only criticism of SureStay is that there are no microwaves in the rooms. Refrigerators are in the rooms thought and guests are welcome to use the microwave located adjacent to the lobby at the food service bar.

I needed a last minute place to stay as I was passing through Chicago and this turned out to be the best decision ever. I was not sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised by everything. The hotel was very close to the mall (which I needed to charge my electric vehicle rental car and those charging stations are hard to find if it's not a Tesla), the front desk staff was incredibly helpful and super polite, the rooms were very clean, the atmosphere inside looked nice and the breakfast in the morning was really good. I am glad I stopped here and gave it a chance. Would definitely recommend!
