My friend and I are always on the hunt for good Indian food and we know we’ll be back to ClayOven soon!We asked for 2 recommendations and our server did not disappoint. We had one chicken and one lamb dish, samosas, and enough garlic naan to kill us.The food was delicious, the staff friendly & helpful, and the restaurant clean & welcoming.

Amazing food and service. I'm not sure why this restaurant doesn't have a line at the door. I will definitely be going back to dine with friends and family.Vegetarian options: Excellent vegetarian and vegan options.Parking: Tons of parking with handicapped spots as well.

Good Indian food. Their thali is very tasteful but lacks variety. Their bread basket is on point and are a must.

Best butter chicken around! Always great service. Cloth napkins, complimentary dips and Indian chips. Love the multiple naan flavors. Great selection of Indian beers.

ClayOven Tandoor provides a serene dining experience with a tranquil ambiance, perfect for a peaceful dinner. The absence of rush allows for a relaxed meal, and the prevalence of takeout orders suggests popularity. The restaurant impresses with a diverse menu, offering both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. The food quality is commendable, complemented by efficient service and a clean environment. The Indian-inspired ambiance adds a cultural touch to the dining experience. However, a notable drawback is the staff’s lack of professional appearance; waiters neglect to tie their hair and lack proper uniforms, detracting from an otherwise positive impression. Despite this, the overall combination of good food, attentive service, and a calming atmosphere makes ClayOven Tandoor a worthwhile choice for those seeking a satisfying Indian dining experience.

The food is amazing. You can tell that it's been prepared fresh. It's a beautiful sit down restraunt. I'm just surprised that it's not as busy for how nice it is and how good the food is.

I love that they had a lunch special. It was just the right amount of food for lunch. They would benefit from having the specific dishes for their lunch specials written down on a white board.

This place has best ambience to eat in neighborhoods; quantity is great so do not over order .Staff is amazing - my chilli planner was bit spicy ( which was my fault ) . They offered complimentary dessertsOther neighborhood Indian restaurants are no at par , you will have to go o Schaumburg or naperville to get same quality .So definitely try this out if you like Indian food

Despite the humdrum name that touches on every Indian restaurant cliche -- Clay Oven Tandoor Indian Grill serves exquisite food of great complexity that compares favorably with the creations I've enjoyed at some of India's finest restaurants! Do yourself a favor: set aside an evening with friends (or simply with a loved one) to experience culinary greatness, preferably on a less-crowded weeknight.
