Awful. I understand that there are things like medication shortages that impact ability to deliver seamlessly. But lack of communication, unwillingness to assist and inability for a company as large as CVS to not secure what is needed for their customers in a timely manner, is the straw that breaks the camel’s back. Requiring text message to be only form of communication (spamming is why I opted out) yet having an IVR that doesn’t allow for assistance is another miss. I’m not coming back.

CVS pharmacy has implemented a new voicemail system that actually prevents you from speaking to the pharmacist. They send you through numerous menus trying to keep you from speaking to anyone and when you finally get the connection, they refuse to answer the phone. After 20 minutes waiting for an answer I finally hung up. Something has really gone wrong with this operation

They have one pharmacy technician for the drive thru and front counter so it takes forever to get your prescription. Why have a drive thru if you don't have the personnel for it? So ridiculous. Worst service I've ever received at a pharmacy. Please hire more people!

Worst pharmacy, worst service. Store is dirty. Filled wrong prescriptions, after being told to pick up at 3 pm, waited another 20 minutes to get only half my order. Went back and spent another half an hour waiting on the other one.

on 4/27/21 I Checked with bing and google on what time pharmacy opens. Both state 8:00 am. Drove 8 miles one way to store and it does not open until 9:00 am. Told manager and he stated I should have gone on cvs.com. He said he has no control over anything but CVS. I tried to explain to him that if he went on the other sites he would be able to correct the hours. he got mad and started yelling. What an idiot manager. All the other stores in area open at 8:00 am why not the one in Long Grove.

Dropped a prescription off for my husband. Before we went I checked on-line with his coverage to see how much the generic of the drug the doctor had written would cost. Got to the pharmacy & the pharmacy tech said there was no generic and she confirmed it with the pharmacist. I mentioned the name of the drug I had found as a generic but did specify I could not be sure since "they are the experts". They said they'd call the doctor. Two days later we get a call from the pharmacy with the generic in the dosage that I had mentioned when we had dropped the prescription off. Yes, the one that the pharmacy tech had told us there was no generic.

I used to love this store but not anymore due to lack of friendlyness of the staff. Also some cashier is very strict with coupons although I know the coupon policy of cvs some cashier makes their own policy and it's not worth to argue with them so I decided to go to other cvs stores nearby.
