Worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with. My husband’s doctor called in a prescription which was rejected by insurance and more paperwork was needed to be filled out by the doctor. CVS never sent the form so my husband called CVS three times to get them to send it. He finally got a hold of them and a rude employee told him that an e-fax was sent and that the doctor would need to call them directly to get a regular fax. The doctor called twice to request that and they still haven’t sent. Worst customer service, definitely using Walgreens going forward. They treat you like it’s a privilege to talk to them, they don’t care about customers.

CVS pharmacy in Long Grove, perpetuates exemplary service. In the past year I have had to switch many different blood pressure pills and the pharmacist has offered great information to help me understand the different medication’s. I would also like to thank the technicians for being so personable and helpful at the drive up window or in the store . There is one technician who goes above and beyond being helpful and nice. Thank you to the entire staff of the CVS pharmacy!!!!!

My daughter is sick, doctor called in prescription, left a voice mail since no one ever picks up, one day passes, they say nothing was called in,
They are rude and hung up. Now I have to call the doctors office again, choose a different pharmacy since these guys are incompetent, wait another day for a flu medicine for my daughter that cab barely breath now.

I now understand why people don’t like this pharmacy. Put through a prescription transfer on THEIR OWN WEBSITE. After a few hours I look up the status of the prescription. It says contact the pharmacy directly as they are having problems doing it. So I call the pharmacy. I’m not allowed to talk to anyone. I leave a detailed message just as directed. I get a call back only to be told “what do you need.” I explain once again what was needed and why I needed to contact them. He says, “oh we decided we’re won’t accept prescription transfers.” I said, “I filled out the entire application on YOUR WEBSITE. I didn’t just make this up.” He said, “yea this location decided we didn’t want to do that anymore. Call your doctor and have them write another rx and bring it in.” So I wasted an entire day already. Still have no rx. I decided to send it to a compound pharmacy instead. I refuse to give CVS any business now! Oh and it’s significantly cheaper. Bonus.

Store is fine, staff friendly. The pharmacy is very chaotic, not overly helpful, very long wait almost every visit no matter what time of day.

Called pharmacy to help a someone get the over the counter medications and the pharmacist said have the person get the meds herself!

The pharmacy is great. The rest of the place is a dumpster fire. The prices are ridiculously high (Walgreens is MUCH cheaper) and there is nothing on the shelves. Here's a clue, order stuff to sell. What a waste of a store.

CVS SR mgmt needs to address the issues at this pharmacy. Long waits, multiple errors in dispensing and rude staff. Additionally, they make promises they can’t keep, like keeping my BP med in stock. Simple generic they can’t keep in stock which is ludicrous. Transferring all my scripts. Pls join me in leaving this CVS pharmacy until CVS SR. Mgmt takes action.
