Everyone on the staff was very friendly and courteous and I could tell it was a family owned and operated place, which is always a plus. From the beginning she was so easy to work with and had great communication. I wasn't pressured to make decisions on things and she was completely mindful and respectful with my budget. When the flowers were delivered Saturday morning they smelled incredible and I was just so over the moon happy! “I recently visited Horcher's Florist & Greenhouse after noticing their sign, and what I found was an unexpected gem of a greenhouse. The owner was exceptionally kind and knowledgeable. He took the time to understand our experience level with plants and made personalized recommendations. He also provided clear instructions on how to care for our new plants. Beyond the extensive selection of plants, the greenhouse offers a variety of pots and gemstones that added to the enchanting ambiance. The entire experience felt like stepping into a scene from a Harry Potter movie. What impressed me the most was the owner's generosity; not only did he help us re-pot the plants we bought, but he also gave us a plant to propagate at home for free. I can confidently say I won't be purchasing plants online or from large retailers as long as Horcher's Farm Greenhouse is in business. A truly wonderful experience!”

“Oh my goodness what a lovely and wonderful flower/ plant shop. This quaint and cozy nursery sits on a corner in libertyville owned by a lady and her dog. My coworker and I walked in for a last minute plant pick for our boss's anniversary. The last wasn't too knowledgable about plants but definitely had an eye for aesthetics and placement. We chose three plants and a basket and the rest was history! While the price was a bit much, I feel it was worth it to make our boss smile as she adores plants. Would highly recommend for your plant needs.”
