“Surprisingly this is an awesome shopping center. Unlike regular Chicago shopping centers/ complexes, this has a different style to it. Something I had seen in other states, can’t remember where but has that gray style tone to the landscape. Very nicely flowers by the side walk and also good restaurants. It’s as if you’re not in Chicago and visited a different state.”

“Kenzie was wonderful and so welcoming from the start, it was my first time entering this store and she helped me try out some delicious scented products. With her cheerful personality and genuine customer interest, it’s definitely made me want to come back. She deserves a raise! “Maggianos is always fantastic, but whoa, we made the mistake of showing up at noon. It was a Tuesday & it was PACKED!! But we were seated within 5 minutes of arriving. The place is huge, so it seats Alot!I had a chopped salad which I absolutely love. Also had the spicy arrabbiata pasta with chicken & asked them to put sausage in too.Delicious!”

“The old-fashioned exterior is eye-appealing. Sunset Foods includes items that one might not find elsewhere in the area, like potato sausage. It also has a great deli with good paninis and phenomenal sweet potato fries.”

“Neat for historic purposes and to get a few fun photos, but not what many people are looking for when it comes to a mall experience. This definitely skews towards an unusual collection of shops that sell specialized items and antiques. There are also options for salon, spa, personal, travel, and educational services in addition to the shopping. With that said, this is worth a visit just to see the botique mall set in an old ice house. Chessie's in a railroad dining car built by Pullman is quite interesting as well as the original Barrington Train Station exterior that it was built on. The mall itself has a very unique look to it that is something rare to see and experience -- even if you are just walking through the common areas.”

“Excellent service in the kitchen and bath departments of Target. A customer service associate walked with us and helped obtain the item we were looking for. Even went to the storage area and brought out the product in another color to make sure we were satisfied! It was around 5:30pm. Wish I had gotten her name. Thank you!”

“I shopped today at the Thyme Fresh Market. Selection is great, it has everything you need and then some. I went today for Ice cream and holistic supplements you can't find anywhere else. I love this place. From fresh Bread, Deli & fresh Meats, Produce, fresh and frozen Seafood and anything you can think of, they have it.”

“Went to great clips in Huntington plaza, waiting time is very less and even if it is crowded your waiting will be max 5 minutes and haircut also won't last more than 5 minutes pretty quick and you end up with what you had in mind. Highly recommended.”

“Great pricing, not what I would call is super store, but have very competitive pricing. Their pharmacy also has better pricing than the more common larger pharmacy chains. But they don’t have the services that those chains have such as calling you to let you know when your RX is ready and waiting. At least that’s been my experience.”

“Town & country center has always been a good fun place to go even since I was a kid in the 90s. Even throughout many years and changes its still a decent place with penalty of stores and businesses. I do miss old country buffet though that was my childhood favorite all you can get restaurant definitely missed.”

“As far as Commons go, this is one that has many options and great stores. Toys, groceries, Auto parts fast food, coffee. The list goes on and on. Worth a visit for sure.”

“I love shopping at the Shops of Kildeer. They have a stand-alone Barnes and Noble with a Starbucks inside. LOVE this location since they closed the Crystal Lake store. I also shop at the Vera Bradley store here. Both have very friendly and helpful associates.”

“They have replaced Sports Authority, in my mind. They have a large variety of different of items for different sports including clothing. Their prices are very competitive. They don't have the greatest of customer service, but they make up for that in price.”

“The Riverside Plaza Shopping Center is in a great location and has a lot of great stores and I always find plenty of places to park and the place is always kept extremely clean and the lot is kept very well maintained and I will say that I do feel safety is almost never a problem around here.”

“While there have been a few relatively recent vacancies in the mall, entirely due to covid and those businesses not being able to make it through to the other side, I know the management will have new merchants filling in the gaps in no time. I really enjoy shopping at the grocery store for their quality and selection, as well as the consistently high level of cleanliness throughout the entire store! I've also needed to buy a few things at one time or another from the medical supply store, be it for myself, family, or friends, and always am amazed at the variety of products available in stock, as well as their ability to special order something for you and have it in hand the next day! I could keep going about the other tenants and the great experience I've had with each, but in the interest of brevity I'll stop and instead encourage you to visit the selection of stores and see what I've been saying! ??”
“We enjoyed our time in Long Grove. A nice place to have a stroll around the historic town. Unfortunately a fair amount of shops were closed and it was a weekend day.”
