Dr. McKenzie listened to all our concerns, and presented multiple options in an easy to understand manner. When it became clear that surgery was needed, the surgeon, Dr. Weber, performed a seamless and minimally invasive procedure. She was quick to provide updates via phone call, and gave clear post-treatment instructions that have led to an easy-to-manage home care plan. Our 7-year-old mix breed dog, Bradley, recently had a teeth cleaning and extraction, and we could not be more thrilled with every aspect of his care. At just 12 lbs, having him go under anesthesia is always nerve-wracking. But from the moment we walked in, the entire staff put us completely at ease with their warmth, professionalism, and genuine love for animals.
Dr. Miller is simply outstanding. She was thorough, compassionate, and clearly dedicated to giving Bradley the best possible outcome. Bradley desperately needed this dental work (his breath was kicking), and thanks to Dr. Miller's expertise, he came through like a champ. The difference in him already is night and day — you can just tell he feels so much better!
The support staff deserves just as much praise. Everyone we encountered was kind, attentive, and made Bradley feel safe and loved throughout the entire process. It's rare to find a team where every single person clearly cares so deeply about their patients.

“We are new to the area and had to choose a new vet for our 13 year old kitty, Fonzie, who hadn't been feeling well. Someone recommended Mundelein Animal Hospital and after reading the reviews, we made an appointment. The person I spoke to on the phone was very kind and capable, and was able to get us in the same day. We saw a vet assistant who took all of our information and then the vet came in. We saw Dr. Feltes who was absolutely wonderful. She gave Fonz a very thorough exam, took X-rays and blood work and explained everything extremely well. She was very gentle with Fonzie, as was her assistant. We never once felt rushed and it's obvious this staff really loves animals. The entire visit was as positive as it could possibly be, given we were there with a patient who didn't want to be there. I highly recommend this animal hospital!”

“I was really wowed by March Animal Hospital. They went out of their way to get my puppy seen as soon as possible and worked around my tricky work schedule. Not only that, they cared for her all day after she was seen. The vet gave a very thorough explanation of what was going on, patiently answered my questions, and gave us a game plan. Every interaction I had was beyond pleasant, and my puppy felt right at home there!”

“When I was fostering my dog this was the vet the shelter was bringing him to. I love that they work with shelters to help lower costs for that population. When I adopted my pup it was an easy decision to keep them as his vet. Worth the longer drive for us. I have had the best care every time I have an appointment. And when I have any concerns I send an email and they respond same day. I highly recommend Kohn.
Also my dog is not dog friendly and they schedule appointments so you are the only one in the waiting room. I have never run into another animal when coming in or out and that helps keep the animals calmer. A wonderful touch to what could be a stressful experience for the animal. 10/10”

“I used to work as a receptionist for a dog daycare, so I've had to talk to different vets all the time all over Chicago. Now, no longer a receptionist and I have my own puppy; Preiser was one of my top 3 to go to. I HIGHLY recommend, they have a wonderful staff and receptionists. The nurses are so kind, and treated my puppy with so much love. Like, I'm pretty sure my dog loves the vet now. They helped refer me to a specialist and helped me make sure she got the best care. Pricing wasn't terrible at all. The doctor called me personally to discuss my dog which I thought was really thoughtful. Also the lobby is so cute, and welcoming. Sometimes lobbies at vets can be rough, like they can smell, be dirty, have strange colors, and have uncomfortable chairs... but not here. It's so cute and cozy, the sun shines in, there are magazines, comfy sheets, and so much space if you have an uneasy or aggressive pet that needs space from other pets. Also I have to point out that all the plants have their own names it's adorable”

“I am a first time dog owner, they had been my Dog’s Dr since she was born , she’s currently about to be 9 years old, they had answered and help me with any questions I had over the years , they had been on top it , I recently had a little scared with my dog where I had to take her to urgent Vet so to them been close , and even they did a bunch of test of my dog they were unable to find the reason was my dog wasn’t feeling well , the next day I call Arlington park Veterinary Hospital her actually Vet , they told me to bring her in , I did and within hrs her Dr was able to come to a conclusion, put her in the right medication and within hrs my baby was back to jump and run around the house , i cnt be more grateful with them , they had been on top when it comes to Dog health I will highly recommend them”

“My wife and I switched to Forest View Animal Hospital a few years ago, back when they were still located off Huntington Road in Hoffman Estates. One of the main reasons we made the change was because it had become nearly impossible to get our dog, Winston (a 7.5-year-old Cockapoo), into our previous veterinary office.
From day one, Forest View has been incredibly accommodating — from the front desk staff, to our primary veterinarian, and especially the office manager, Suji Kim. Winston used to shake uncontrollably and practically beg to leave our former vet’s office, but now he is genuinely excited to go to Forest View and see his new “friends.”
We’ve been going to Forest View for several years and even followed them to their new location off Golf and Barrington Road, despite it being 10–15 minutes farther for us. That alone says a lot. They greet and treat Winston like he’s one of their own. They consistently do their best to accommodate last-minute appointment requests, and if they can’t, they always offer realistic options in the near future.
Their pricing is reasonable, and they’ve proactively suggested ways for us to save money on future care Winston may need. Winston was our “kid before the kids,” so his health and safety mean everything to us. Forest View Animal Hospital has gone above and beyond to provide that level of care, and Suji Kim is truly the best.”
