I had a top tier marine battery go bad after only 1 year of service. The battery had a 4 year warranty and was replaced with a new one. The process took a few days because they had to verify that my battery had indeed failed. The only minor complaint I have is I sent an e-mail via their website and I never received an answer or a return phone call. Bottom line, they took care of me and replaced my battery and thus the 5 star review.

They were nice when I paid $200 to have a new car battery installed but when I went back for help because my dashboard clock was no longer working they couldn't be bothered to even fake interest in my problem. They insinuated that the clock hadn't been working before they changed the battery and said in a smug tone that it wasn't their problem. Will spend my $200 elsewhere in the future.

I used to come in all the time, I buy a lot of small batteries there. (Remember I said used to). The new management doesn’t know top from bottom or left from right. The new staff seem lost, except for the one member of the team they still have from the last group. I’m not actually sure what happened but I do know the last team that was working there was always super helpful and friendly. The new batch seems to have an attitude like they don’t want to do anything for you.

Needed floor scrubber batteries. Staff was helpful on the phone and in-store. Without asking, came to my car to pick up the old batteries. Also, placed the new ones in my car. Great selection. Online order was fulfilled shortly after placing it.

I've gone in a few times since they got a whole new staff and it just doesn't seem to be worth it. They just seem confused, flustered and continuously having to text and call there "Rockford store" every time to find inventory or ask if they can do it. If you're in the Roscoe/South Beloit area save the gas and trip and go to Beloit

Used to frequent this store all the time. It seemed in a matter of days the entire staff was gone including the manager. I've tried calling and whoever answered couldn't find my order and when I finally went into the store and worked with "new management" it made it clear I'll be taking my money and service else where.Update: What a joke. A response from "the owner" saying to contact the store manager for more assistance. You mean the same management I posted about having issues with in my review?

Purchased platinum AGM Marine & RV Duracell for my pontoon, paying the extra $ and thinking I was getting a quality battery. Well, I have gone through 2 replacements, each lasting less than a year. I take good care of my batteries, removing them from the watercraft when not in use & connecting them to a trickle charger - these are HORRIBLE quality batteries! Furthermore, management is telling me they will not warranty the battery because they’re considering this user neglect but they cannot tell me what I should have done differently to prevent my supposed neglectful act. I would avoid all 3 Rockford area locations at all costs and I would stay away from Duracell marine products as they’re the only batteries I’ve had problems with in decades of boating. I now have an Everlast Walmart battery that cost me under $100 which I know I’ll be much happier with - should have never made an effort to upgrade batteries!

2nd time I’ve used Batteries Plus to replace cell phone battery. They were fast and professional.
