I've been using this pharmacy due to the fact that cvs on north main closed there location. But this facility needs to either shut down or have customer service classes for those who have no skills in that department. I had a prescription that needed to be filled and the automated service would not accept the RX prescription number I was putting in. So after 3 attempts I called the pharmacy directly and the pharmacist I spoke with kept telling me to contact my doctor. I explained to her that I did not need to contact my doctor and she finally read the RX number she had. I told her that was not the number I had, so when she finally agreed to put in my RX number she started that it was approved. And a day later I went to pick up this prescription. And went to the pharmacy, which apparently looked to have 2 lanes open for pickup. I went behind this little old lady and was approached by several aggressive foul mouthed customers. Yelling profanities and this escalated to the pharmacist yelling at me to inform me that she would call authorities on me if I did not leave. I was trying to defend myself against the customers and pharmacist as well that I was standing in line. But instead of her "the pharmacist " deescalting the problem she was very accepting to it. I called my husband on the phone and explained to him what was happening and was yelled at by customers during my conversation with him. My husband came in and deescalated the situation. I will NEVER go through anything like that again. This was a racially motivated incident, I'm African American and Native American. Who happens to be happily married to a caucasian male.

Worst pharmacy ever!! They are extremely rude to customers!! Went through the drive through around 5:30pm on 12/23/23. Told them the name and date of birth 5 times at their request all to be told that the information didn’t match. When I asked what doesn’t match, they wouldn’t give me an answer. So I gave them my husbands middle name and that finally matched. Then the rude woman proceeded to tell me that I had an attitude and she wasn’t going to serve me. You need to get better people in there!! It’s absolutely awful, and they are ridiculously slow people on purpose! So as a result, my husband doesn’t have his medication. What an absolute joke!!

Pharmacy is very slow. The drive through takes at least 20 minutes every time I've been there. Today I was supposed to have a refill done. I never got notification that it was ready, so I called and spent 20 minutes on hold, then just drove there and got it taken care of. I stayed on hold the entire time just to see how long it took for my call to be answered: 27 minutes, right as I was walking out of the store to my car. I said nevermind, I just came to the store and got it handled after spending 27 minutes on hold. Their response was "Sounds about right. (Sarcastically) have a blessed day." There weren't even any cars in the drive through and there was one person in line inside so they weren't busy.

dr sent a prescription for liquid amoxicillin to cvs on n alpine for my 5 year old they were out of it, they stated (n alpine cvs) sent it over to their east state location and for me to pick it up there cuz they were the only cvs to have it in stock.East state cvs the s alpine and east one bc there's 2 off east state which n alpine didn't specifiy so I ran to both. East state cvs said n alpine never sent it to em they sent it back to the dr. The pharmacy had on north alpine had out it in as a pill to be filled not the 5 ml liquid like the dr had prescribed. So she was unable to get the medication she needs, and I was hauling her to diff cvs locations in the pouring rain all in vein because we were never going to obtain the prescription due to n alpine cvs's error

Called to question medication refill my son picked up for me, I knew they charged me less then what I usually pay. In trying to be honest with a phone call the lady answering the phone was so rude. Hey lady I was just trying to be honest this is the second time I’ve had to deal with her and it is the last time. I called my insurance company I will be transferring to another pharmacy.

Can I give zero stars? Horrible service. Waited in line for 20 minutes only to be told, “your prescription has not been approved.” After explaining the situation, he checked again. Now, things are magically okay, but they don’t have my prescription in stock. I’m told, “you can pick it up tomorrow or go to another CVS in town to get it today.” I drove to the other CVS. They were extremely helpful. My prescription is in stock, but they cannot provided it for me because initially the prescription must be filled at “my” CVS. You think the original CVS would’ve known this. Apparently, not. The CVS at the corner of Riverside and Alpine wasted over 1.5 hours of my day. Horrible customer serve.

If I could, I would give 0 stars. It is not an exaggeration that EVERYTIME I visit this store, there is a problem or my RX is not ready, even when I've been emailed or texted that my order is ready for pick up. Such a waste of time. One visit, my daughter's RX did not have the insurance information and instead of the employee asking if there was insurance, she just rang it up at full price. Then she was "bothered" that I had insurance and she had to run it through. They have been asked several times to update my telephone information and yet, STILL they are not using the correct phone number. The staff is rude and most seem incapable of doing their job.The lines are always out of control both inside and out and when you're in line outside, don't try and get out because they do COVID testing in the drive through and the way the parking lost is set up, you can't get around the cars and are STUCK TO WAIT!HORRIBLY MANAGED and who ever is doing the hiring is not hiring the right people.TRY to do better CVS, at the least just TRY!!

This is the worst pharmacy I have ever used. I have been on hold on the phone for 30 minutes without speaking to a pharmacist. If you do manage to get through, it takes a very long time for a prescription to be filled. A pharm tech once told me it would take 10-15 minutes for my script to be ready for pickup, but it took 45 minutes instead (for a script that came in a prepackaged and precounted bottle). I’m not sure why this store is so inefficient, but any other CVS in the area is better.
