Paid cash at 2:21pm. Confined before paying with clerk if my $5 coupon came off. She said “yes”. Walking to car looking at receipt showed different. Walked myself & 2 bags right back in to clerk. Told clerk my $5 coupon did NOT come off. I would like to return all items & re-buy to try coupon again. Clerk told me when she scans receipt the computer doesn’t find my transaction. I informed her “you just checked me out & gave me this receipt less than 5 minutes ago”. she informed I could only receive store credit if I returned my things. I said excuse me? I paid cash not check or debit/credit. I asked to speak with store manager. Clerk said “I am the manager”. Then I asked for corporate phone number. Something as small as a $5 coupon issue just turned into a much bigger issue. In what world can you not return your items you paid cash for within 10 minutes?? Dollar general fix your computers and train your staff!! Waiting for that call back that’s supposed to happen within 24hours. Oh and corporate confirmed Karah is NOT the store manager like she claimed. Imagine that.

Watch prices always higher at register then at shelves, I got robbed out of 5.00 because Tammy couldn't figure out how to read there own receipt. I bought three dish soaps for 2.00 each after she changed prices because of course it rang up higher at register it was 13.00 after paying I told her this is wrong we argued for 10 minutes then finally she refunded me 8.00 so I left with no soap and 5.00 less then I came in witnh I should of called police and let them help Tammy with her math never returning here
