I don't bank through Northwest, but I do have a mortgage through it.I bought my home and the 2nd year, when I received my home taxes, it appeared as though something was wrong because they were so much higher than the year before. Of course I realized at that time (2021) that housing cost were going up. But the cost was absurd. I pointed this out to my mortgage originator but I was essentially told 'my taxes went up.' And nothing else was done about it.A similar issue happen in 2022: I began to wonder why my taxes + fees seemed higher than folks with homes similar to mine.In 2023 I was informed of the home owner's exemption—I moved from out of state so this wasn't something I was familiar with. Apparently I filled this out during closing, but the county claims to have never received it (I even had a copy of form signed from closing). So I was overcharged two years in a row by about $1400 in taxes. The past year, the count could provide a refund but not for the year before.Of course, I recognize, I should have researched more. Learned about the homeowner's exception earlier, on my own. But given such forms are part of a mortgage originator's job of doing the tax/insurance/mortgage math for a home, I'm disappointed that my particular case was not looked into, especially given I had pointed out this problem two years in a row. And especially at such a lost to my own money.Had I *not* emailed my realtor and discussed this issue with friends on the backend, I'm sure I'd just continue to be overtaxed. My issue would have never been looked into.Everyone was 'professional' in the exchange, but it's frustrating that if this was a mistake on the other end (if the accidentally undercharged me) I would for sure be footing the bill. But Northwest will not accept accountability for this loss—says it's in the county's hands.I suppose if you do receive services from here, just don't expect issues/problems to be addressed with any detail/be taken seriously.

Online banking is impossible. The account works for a while and then suddenly you can’t get into anything or pay anything. You go to the bank to get them to fix it, and they can’t help you. Finally it gets fixed and a few months later, the online won’t work anymore.
