This was an awesome experience. I went there to fill out my Semitruck. The place was clean. The Customer Service was right on point. They are very friendly. I would definitely recommend if you’re in the area for a Truck Stop or just some nice Loves Park hospitality. Easy access from the highway very convenient. I definitely recommended and appreciate it.

I want to give a huge shoutout to Assistant Manager Julie H. at Road Ranger store #211.
I stopped in to grab my usual coffee and smokes, and right away Julie was polite, friendly, and helpful with my order. While I was there, I asked about picking up an Illinois Toll Easy Pass tag, and she let me know that it could only be purchased with cash. Unfortunately, I had just transitioned into a new work truck and didn’t have any cash in the wallet or change compartment yet. I tried the ATM, but since I’m from out of state my card flagged for fraud and wouldn’t dispense cash.
Julie noticed my situation and went above and beyond—she personally covered the $3 cash for my Easy Pass. I tried to repay her through CashApp or Venmo, but she kindly refused and said she just wanted to do what was best for her customers.
That kind of kindness and professionalism is rare, and it left a lasting impression. This was my very first visit to a Road Ranger gas station, and thanks to Julie, you’ve earned a new loyal customer. From now on, Road Ranger will be my go-to instead of the other chains.
Thank you again, Julie—you truly turned my day around and made me a fan for life!

I was debating if I wanted to write a review. but I think it’s necessary now. I am a faithful customer I come in gas up on my breaks, I come get what I want and need etc I referred this exact location to family members and friends I love this location. we all love this location. The employees are super friendly. an is always on they’re toes! I’m always greeted with smiles and a fast check-out but one thing I can say what don’t sit right with me is the management and with me over hearing the manager speak down on her employees in a utterly way I just can’t & don’t appreciate that as a customer I’m so sorry but I feel like management should be better & and OR do bette. we truly miss old management where there WAS real and raw respect when customers are present. Look We all are human and Im in the management industry myself one thing I would NOT do and do NOT Tolerate is talking down on my employees while customers are present YOU DONT DO THAT. you pull them aside and tell them what they’re doing wrong and create goals on how they can become a successful employee in the future but you DO NOT go whining to us customers about YOUR employees weaknesses that YOU COULD or MIGHT HAVE CREATED lbvs (let’s be very serious) Road rangers YOUR employees make this location a five star business please fix or kick management. as a customer we deserve better! Orr we can spread the word at take our money somewhere where it’s appreciated and respected. And on that note the amount of work them hard working employees put into the job and the amount of times I come in an hear both managers from both sides argue about how subway manager run their business is insane. Like I said I was debating whether to write my honest review but I definitely felt like it’s is necessary for one. At the end of the day I love spending my money here because the employees brighten up my day on bad day. and good day I felt like this business deserves my money. Road Rangers please fix it bring old management back.!

Oh my where do I begin with gratitude! Tavarus better known as “T” and Joe who likes to jokingly refer to himself as the”Polish Hillbilly” his words not mine helped me tremendously today. When I say they both went above and beyond to assist my unpredictable dilemma today with my Grandson locking me out of the truck with my phone inside. Such gracious souls they were and tried multiple means to unlock the vehicle so I could save a few dollars in these rough times. I thank them sooooo very much for getting that door unlocked and even offering to put their incentive they got for recommending a tow service. Tears of joy and Road Ranger as a whole should be proud to have hired some genuine kind hard working souls. So T and Hillbilly Joe may God continue to bless you in ways the way you blessed me today!!!

I like the Subway and the fresh hot dogs (that's what I think they are) here! I also like the variety of foods and drinks here. The staff are very nice. However, the gas prices are a bit higher than where I live. I know you can't control the prices of the gas, but still.

I stopped by this morning for a quick visit. I had already paid for fuel at the pump and went inside to grab a drink and get my receipt. When I got to the register, the cashier asked if that was all I had. I told her no I had fuel and clarified that it was already paid for.
She then asked for a rewards card, which confused me, since I wasn’t trying to pay for fuel again. I just needed my receipt and wanted to pay for my drink. As I handed over the drink, she gave me a stern, condescending look and said, “I’m going to do this first,” in reference to the receipt. Her tone and expression felt more like she was scolding a child than helping a customer.
I asked her why the attitude, and people nearby just said, “That’s just how she is,” as if that excused the behavior.
I left, but the experience bothered me enough that I went back in to ask for her name. When she saw I had a camera, she told me to leave. When I asked her name, she sarcastically replied, “It’s on the building.” The only name I saw was Road Ranger. Who knows maybe she’s the owner of the location.
I hadn’t planned to leave a review until I saw someone else shared a similar experience just the day before possibly with the same employee (they thought her name was Joanna, but I believe it may actually be Julie). That told me this wasn’t an isolated issue.
That said, I want to give credit where it’s due—the Gardener Road Ranger location in Beloit off I-90 is the complete opposite. The staff there is always respectful, fast, and professional. I’ve never had a negative experience at that location, and they’ve earned my trust and business.
Road Ranger, I hope management takes these contrasts seriously. A single employee’s attitude can damage your brand but your great locations prove you know how to do it right.

I understand the low results on ratings. Maybe leadership should explain to this team that customer service is very easy. Smile and be nice. The lady that is behind the counter. Joann I think was her name. No smile. No interaction. Felt like on TV for being checked into a prison. Location is horrible. Maybe yhe station across the street appreciates revenue.

The best cleanest gas station I've been to, even the outside is clean. All the workers here I see work hard and always have great customer service making it feel welcoming.

Love the services and the Happy Greeting I get from all employees at this store EVERYDAY sometimes twice a day!! The quick service I get from Julie is amazing. Sometimes she has my items waiting for me at the register by the time I walk in! These employees are amazing keep up the good work Road Ranger love this store!!
