Cashier clearly hates her job. Huffs and puffs and complains while you check out. She called for another cashier to help with the line and the other cashier helped the whole line while she lazily checked me out. I swear the other lady checked out 7 other people while she did mine she was so slow and acted like I was a bad person for not taking everything off the hanger while I waited in line. I didn’t know I was supposed to do that and theres no sign saying I should do it or I would have. She made me feel bad for shopping there which is ridiculous. My total was only $45 bucks or so so its not like I bought an outrageous amount of things it was just some fabric and linens.

Love this store! Only after visiting the one star store in Arlington Heights Illinois, did I truly come to appreciate how great this store is! The staff are extremely friendly, and the store is ckean and very well organized, not only by clothes style and size but color as well! I have found lots of wonderful clothes that fit my style at terrific prices! They DO have fitting rooms, apparently not all of Salvation Army's stores do, but with no exchange, no return policy they need them.

My family and I will NOT be donating to this location ever again. My husband went there to drop off some breakable items and the Mexican guy that was there grabbed one of the boxes like it was full of stuffed Eben after my husband told him it was full of breakables.. They don't care. Never again. From now on we'll donate to the N. 2nd location. They are all very nice and very careful.

Love thrifting this store. I always manage to find something to add to my vintage kitchen collection. The shelves are often messy, but that's typical. It's a large store and worth your time to stop in.

Great selection and even better prices!!!Do not come here in a hurry. Took 10 minutes for two people to be checked out ahead of me. Cashier not in a hurry for anything.

They refuse donations and are very picky. I'm going to donate elsewhere.

My friend went in and found a perfect Kleenex box for her living room. It had no tag. They took it away from her and said it had to be rerolled. We both donate so much there and the assistant manager would not budge. Not to mention in past years we have dumped hundreds of dollars in goods here. They lost two customers and to be honest I think this is cruel. This is a Christian organization stating doing the most good. Try Carpenters corner they will take care of you.

I’m giving this location a one star rating for being over the top picky in taking donations!

The pricing of this Salvation Army’s items is absolutely out of control. It’s laughable in some cases, shameful in most. Men’s t-shirts are now 6.99, many items are priced higher than retail, and only the dirty, stained, or low quality/falling apart items are under $5. Anything that is name brand OR CLEAN is automatically $6.99 or higher, which is ridiculous because they don’t pay more for name brand, they don’t pay for literally anything. You are losing money doing this, I’ve put so many items back that I would have otherwise purchased. Yesterday when I was there, I saw an OLD Chicago Bears sweatshirt priced at 19.99!!!! I had to ask the check out lady if that really said 19.99 and not even she could excuse that. Disgusting. If you are looking for decent pieces, just shop retail at this point. This price gouging takes the fun out of thrift shopping anyway.

Average. I’ve seen better salvation army’s than this one and it’s organized well. It’s really nice though.
