“We had the pleasure of working with Deb at Twisted Tulip for our wedding, and she was absolutely spectacular! From the very beginning, I had a pretty specific vision for the aesthetic, and Deb went above and beyond to make sure it was brought to life perfectly. Her attention to detail was evident in every element of the day, and several of our guests were truly blown away by how stunning everything looked. One of the most valuable things Deb did was ensure that we had zero commitments on the day of the wedding. She coordinated seamlessly with the DJ, photographer, catering, cake maker, and officiant, taking all of the stress off of us. The venue looked absolutely gorgeous, and we couldn’t have been more thrilled with how everything turned out. Thank you, Deb, for making our wedding day flawless!”

“Great space for private parties, wedding reception etc. Nice deck area on the Rock river. I'm guessing 200 people capacity, this party was around 100 people. I was DJ for this event, the lighting upgrade looked vibrant.”
“It was nice. The suite was spacious. The bed was a bit lower than what I'm used to. The mattress is close to needing to be replaced. The self serve breakfast buffet was also nice. My stay was too short to enjoy their other amenities. The staff was friendly but a bit standoffish.”
“We had a 9 and an 11 year old with us and were afraid they might be too old for it. But they both had a ball, inside and out. And I'm a senior and really liked the ample places for adults to sit when needed. Also very nice, friendly staff”

“Womans auxiliary meeting with dinner...soup night, about 18 crock pots of home made soup. A table of appetizers and salad, one with crackers and bread, one with desserts and one table of all gluten free. Delicious. Plus i played pull tabs and won.”
“Went here on a Saturday afternoon after we were informed, there was OTB inside. The bowling alley in itself is very large, and can accommodate large groups for league bowling. Saturday afternoon was open bowling. Slightly crowded. They have a large game room for the kids as well as adults. The snack bar has a wide variety of grill items, snacks, and drinks. Slot machines are also available but very limited. The OTB area was very clean and organized. I counted at least 10 race courses on the monitors that you can bet on. Very automated betting machines, and smoke-free environment.”
“Went to a wedding here it was beautiful and it was catered by machine shed food was excellent, tables were set perfectly for dancing staff were friendly and efficient, DJ was outstanding, so cool they had their wedding here.”
“I had my granddaughter’s 1st birthday party, it was perfect for a small event. Everything was clean smoke free. Kitchen was very useful. The owner was very nice & professional showed us around the establishment & it was affordable. Afterwards everyone pitched in to clean & a gentleman came on time & inspected everything & was pleased. We got our deposit back. Will definitely rent it again”

I visited Bowling Valley today with my two kids, and we had an absolute blast! After a fun game of bowling, my kids wanted to explore the arcade. As we walked in, the manager and staff were busy with some tasks, but the manager still took the time to notice us and offered my kids FREE toys and arcade cards! It truly made our day special. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the manager was AMAZING!
Their kindness and hospitality went above and beyond. We can't wait to come back again.”
“We came to Rockford for a show at the BMO. We came from 5 and 1/2 hours away and we're exhausted by the time we got done. It was late and nothing was open for dinner. So we went to a Denny's and just luckily candlewood was 2 minutes away. Everything was nice and close. We arrived and Scott got us checked in quickly and gave us ice, because they didn't have machines on the floors due to it being an extended stay hotel. The room was spotless, beds and pillows were very comfortable ❤️?. I usually bring my own but forgot so this was a blessing. Bathroom was nice and clean with a good selection of shampoo, conditioner and body wash. I would definitely stay here again if I came back very comfortable and cozy. Great job guys!”

“The front desk personnel were very kind. The room was spacious, comfortable, quiet and clean. The shower was big and clean, but the water pressure was terrible! Easy to get to and conveniently located.”
