I have been a customer at the Lyons location since July 2006. I have seen many employees come and go over the years. The District Manager Gil Beres is a wonderful person. He has been with the company at least 15 years or longer. Many times I have needed to reach out to Gil for help and he has been excellent. He is very hard working, polite, professional, and down to earth. Gil works a ton of hours for this company and in my perspective deserves a big raise for all of his efforts. I truly appreciate that he has been very helpful in assisting me over the years. Mike is also an employee you may run into at the Lyons location from time to time. He has been with the company at least 7 years, handles 4-5 locations, and was very helpful updating my account and answering all of my questions back in December 2024.

Three members of my family have used Safeguard Storage, Lyons and we all are very satisfied. With this last experience, one of my sisters renting another space here, they honor that fact. In the rental transmission the gentleman who helped me out was very kind, professional and patient. He took all the time needed to go through the rental process, explaining and guiding the best way possible. In general have been an amazing experience. I wish si could have more experiences like this in my daily life.

Although this facility no longer has an actual person at its location. I still received great service from team members for the Lyons,IL location. The employee I would like to point out is Arnold. He went above and beyond, even though I had made renting a unit a bit challenging. He never once made me feel rushed or bad about having to put them through a lot more work. I feel that Arnold did an excellent job and so did the other employees that I spoke to.

Storage use and servicing was good. Unfortunately price kept increasing so we moved out to another storage fcility

We had a great experience at one of the locations in the Lyons area. Her name was Mel and she went above and beyond to make sure we got our unit and did it very politely and professionally all the way through!! Great service and would highly recommend!!

Melanie was VERY HELPFUL AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. Everything was explained very thoroughly and she even asked if I had any questions. Definitely was a great experience. The facility is very clean and temperature is great as well.
