New bankers hours 9-5 will not fit in my schedule. I work for a living! This store does a lot of business in the area! Do better walgreens! We NEED EXTENDED HOURS!.

Pharmacy has worst customer service I've ever experienced. Staff looks miserable and are unpleasant to deal with. Lines are long because there is typically only one station open, even though there are several people behind the counter. Be prepared to spend an hour or more waiting in line. The pharmacy staff has no sense of urgency and apparently no understanding that people are here for important medical needs. I have never been able to pick up a prescription when it was promised, and instead of acknowledging the problem or trying to resolve it, they are rude and argumentative. Today I have been here for 2 hours and am still waiting to pick up a simple antibiotic for a child. The tech says it takes 2 minutes to fill the prescription, but the pharmacist needs to approve it before I can pick it up. He's on lunch. No ETA. Yep. Been here for 2 hours. I see from reading other reviews that I'm not the only one frustrated bu this store. When will Walgreens get a handle on this? The pharmacist and the store manager are either unable or unwilling to figure it out. They told me that I might have better luck calling their District Manager, Bryan Biederman at (630) 985-7189. I plan on reaching out to him... maybe other frustrated customers will too.

This store by far has the absolute worst customer service--especially in pharmacy. Most of the pharmacists and techs that have been there a long time are the only thing holding it together. When you call, you have to go to a call center to get transferred to the actual pharmacy. After the transfer, you are on hold minimally 15-20 minutes--when the call is finally picked up it is put on hold again without ever saying a word. There are always cars in the drive-thru and the wait is about 8-10 minutes per car on a good day. If you go inside to the actual pharmacy there is always a line. Pharmacy techs don't ever seem familiar and I've been going there for years. The most caring pharmacists that are always helpful are Caryl (she's exceptional) and Dave. The pharmacy techs that keep the pharmacy running the smoothest and are very kind are: Gina, Jamie, Greg and Wendy. The employees inside (Carol-front register is very efficient) with the exception of two are very rude, especially the assistant managers. No one wants to help and no one wants to smile. These people are not treated well by management and that reflects on their demeanor to customers. This used to be a fabulous store with exceptional employees. The few that have been there for years are not enough to repair the damage done over the last five years. Their longtime manager finally retired but before he did, he started the downward spiral and it has never recovered. Corporate needs to fix this store. I would use CVS but my Rx company forces me to use Walgreens. The two CVS stores in the town next door (Brookfield) are superior to this Walgreens The employees inside with the exception of two are very rude, especially the one female assistant manager (Jessica). Now the pharmacy is no longer open 24 hours and that's inconvenient. Even if they did that just a couple days a week that might help but at this point I doubt it. I would not recommend this store to anyone and that's the consensus of most of the residents in Lyons. It's really sad to see this store fall apart to the point of no repair.

This place has the worst drive thru service, this is supposed to be a quick alternative to going in but it never is. They average 15 to 20 minutes per car. Its not much better if you go in. Time to find a new pharmacy.

NEVER AGAIN!!!!\ I went into Walgreens to scan a photo and get several 8x10 photo copies. I used the little kiosk computer and scanner that does not require help from an associate. I got a confirmation screen that my photos would be ready in 30 minutes and that I would receive a phone call when they were ready. I came back about 2 hours later because I never got a phone call. When I arrived they couldn’t find my photos. Then they saw my photos were in a queue with several other orders that had not been completed. Their excuse was the machine was broken and they couldn’t print anything. First of all, why was I able to use the kiosk if the printing machines were broken?! I asked if they could transfer the photos to another Walgreens and they said no. They said if I went to another Walgreens photo I should have the new Walgreens call the Walgreens in Lyons and they would give me a 50% off discount for my trouble. This is exactly what I did. I transferred my photos myself on the computer and went to a different Walgreens. My photos were ready and I had them call the Lyons Walgreen. They said they had no idea what I was talking about and they didn’t offer me a discount for my trouble and they couldn’t help. What a bunch of crud! Now 4 hours after the fact, I got my photos from a separate Walgreens with no discount. I’d say Lyons Walgreens needs to work on communication and customer services skills. Just rude. Also, they should put up a sign when the photo printing machine isn’t working!!!!!!

Store is great, pharmacy leaves something to be desired. Pharmacy tech I dealt with, blond, middle-aged, gave me an attitude and kept talking over me. Get some customer service skills. This was at 9:30 in the morning. Would not like to see her at 5 pm!

I'ts helpful that they are 24/7 but their staff borders on incompetent. I am waiting here for birth announcements we ordered a few hours ago, after the time they said they would be ready but when I arrived they said "oh we forgot to print them." Also, around a year ago, I was here picking up a prescription while my wife was in the hospital and they simply lost the prescription and made me wait over an hour while I was either being ignored or they couldn't find the prescription. I had to wait until there a new person came in because the pharmaceutical worker was simply not even looking anymore. They aren't all bad here but it really sucks when the workers don't give two cents about the customers.

If you go to the pharmacy you will experience first hand the definition of poor customer service. Long lines, frustrated customers, and insufficient and stressed staff. A nightmare that never stops!

No good morning, not even eye contact from clinic personnel. Not a great start. Supposed to open at 9:00am but staff arrives minutes before so they don't take 1st person until 9:20.

Pharmacy department is the worst ever. They have too many people working there telling you 10 different things about your refill. Absolute chaos in this place!!!

This store sucks big time! I went in there to make a purchase and the cashier Carol is a big racist a** nosy woman that wants to set her own limits and her own rules and everything and made a big deal about my purchase and took my stuff away, she kept calling the manager to kind of demand I not be allowed to get the quantity of items that I was getting. But she let the lady in front of me take all her crap she had!
