Never had an issue with this particular store on Forest Hills Rd. in Machesney Park, IL until today. So I go in to pay for gas and I grabbed a breakfast bowl. I get to my car and while my gas is pumping I grab the bowl to open it to start eating since I don't have much time before getting to work. The bottom of the breakfast bowl felt like it came out of the walk-in freezer. I didn't think much of at the moment as I started to scoop it around I noticed everything was lukewarm as I ate some of it. I dug around to the bottom and there is this "HALF FROZEN" hash brown on the bottom. No wonder why the bottom felt cold. So I put the lid back on and walked it back in. I politely told the cashier that part of this bowl is cold do to the partially thawed hash brown underneath everything. She yelled for one the cooks in the back and she came out. I told her what the issue was and I asked if I could just have a fresh one that is thoroughly heated & cooked from the case? So without any consideration of my time this morning having to get to work she says, "No, we can't do that, I will just throw it back in the oven and re-heat it for you and it may take a few minutes." Going to the cashier to ask for a refund wasn't an option because the line was too long for me to wait on that. I didn't want to make a big deal of it so I said ok. 8 minutes later, I get the re-heated breakfast bowl and I say thank you and leave. Instead of her just giving me a new one from the case and throwing the botched bowl away and making me wait, I instead had to sit there for something that will probably make sick from eating it and had to be late for work this morning. I am very disappointed with the display of customer service this morning and I will not be back to this specific store. I mean, what is the big loss on throwing away something that wasn't prepared right in the first place. All I know is I better not get the shits from having to eat re-heated lukewarm food that was sitting on top of a partially frozen hash brown for who knows how long before I grabbed it. Rant over!

Casey's Gas Station was nothing short of frustrating. I requested to have the pump opened so I could fill up and come inside to pay using a gift card, even offering to leave my ID as a good faith gesture. However, they outright refused, displaying a lack of flexibility and customer service.Reluctantly, I decided to use my credit card at the pump instead. I pumped $48 worth of gas, only to discover that Casey's placed a staggering $75 hold on my card. This excessive hold is completely unreasonable and inconvenient. I called them to asked why they did it and the guy blamed it on my bank and said casey's does not do that, which is inaccurate.This incident has left a sour taste in my mouth, and I will never be getting gas from Casey's again. The combination of their refusal to accommodate a simple request and the unnecessary hold on my card is a clear indication of their disregard for customer satisfaction. I urge others to steer clear and find a more customer-friendly gas station.

I frequent this Casey's because I work literally next door and it makes a great quick lunch or dinner for me....love thier cheese pizza!But Excellent Crew Members are always what really bring me back!!!

Worked here first hand , tons of health code violations and no care what so ever for the employees, I would not recommend eating here or even so much as getting gas, horrible staffing! They mix there donuts that has almonds which is a allergen hazard , they leave the donuts out in the open for hours..this is definitely holy moly donut shop

Came in two times with a $25 Casey's giftcard that wouldn't read when swiping. The first time they spent almost 20 min trying to get it to work but I had to leave for an appointment. I came back and was noticed by the same lady who tried to help me previously. She recalled the interaction and headed to the back asking the manager about it. She returned and told me she couldn't help because the card was a couple years old and that I needed to call the 1800 number on the back of the card. I left frustrated and phoned the customer service number. The lady on the phone informed me the cards are able to be keyed in manually, which in store they told me they were not. The customer service lady seemed irritated to hear that and said she was going to contact the store. A two year old gift card is not the problem. The lack of knowledge and unhelpful staff is. The manager didn't seem to care. They only seemed interested in getting rid of me because it was too much trouble. I went to the Casey's in Roscoe and the manager got on the phone and sorted things out. She spent 20 minutes helping.
