The new pharmacy system is useless. I shouldn't have to leave a voicemail to get a call back to speak to a representative! Who ever thought leaving a voicemail and waiting for an hour for a phone call was a good idea needs to really rethink this system. I should have to go into the store every time I have a question regarding a medication or medication cost prior to coming in.

Absolutely the worst pharmacy I have ever used. Thank God today was the last day that I'm forced by my insurance company to use them. I had surgery today. After we got home my wife got really sick and weak. My Dr has sent a prescription in for the pain. I asked the pharmacy if it could be delivered. They set it up but never told me that it could be 1 or 2 DAYS before I'd get it! And I was told by another CVS that controlled drugs can't be delivered and it couldn't be transferred. Nothing I could do but wait until the next day when this pharmacy reopened to get things straightened out! That was the last straw for this pharmacy! Never again! DON'T USE CVS!!!!

I was forced into giving this place a chance given my prescription was sent to this location. which was my luck given the already bad reviews and trust the bad reviews are honest. if your doctor is sending your prescription to this location I heavily advise you request a different location. the customer service as far as the pharmacy is horrendous not professional at all I’ve seen more professionalism from McDonald’s. I had a pharmacy “female” worker( who I was told over the phone names is treasure ) African American heavier set with dreads. who I thought was a man sat and talked with workers for a few minutes and was clearly doing nothing as far as work while I’m at the window. then decides to make a face and wave me off in the most unnecessary way after just staring me down in my car in the drive thru while drinking her mt dew. for 4 minutes granted I showed up at 7:59pm she then walked over to sit in the chair and just continue staring me down in my car. then after another minute of just sitting and staring at me saying nothing she placed a black cardboard piece up to block sight from the drive thru window. now I could be more understanding of her reaction had I done something to grant this reaction but even then a simple we’re closed would suffice. you would think they’d hire more professional people in the pharmacy let alone someone who can just simply say hey we’re closed. but I’d highly recommend another cvs pharmacy within the same area located in the target on 9833 N Alpine Rd Machesney park IL 61115.

The customer service is terrible! I went to the drive thru. There were 6 workers inside. I pushed the button 3 times in a 15 minute time frame. Nobody helped me out. I realize that if they were short staffed it would be a legitimate excuse but I'm not sure what happened. I don't have a choice but to go to CVS with my insurance.

CVS Machesney Park is my favorite store for all of my Photo needs. They do an excellent job on Canvas and Acrylic Wall Decor items. I enjoy photography as a hobby and have found the quality of Wall Decor is superior to many previous options that I have tried over the years. Additionally, their pricing is a fraction of what I have paid elsewhere.
Lastly, kudos to their staff. They are all warm and professional people that care about the customer.
Thank you CVS Machesney Park!!

There needs to be a zero star option when it comes to this CVS pharmacy. Rude. Overwhelmed. Four warm bodies, three of whom who know what they're doing and a placeholder. Line always backed up. Lost orders. The new guy (I assume) was floundering on his own while the others hustled around. You couldn't trust a thing he did -- whether insurance would pay, etc., and nobody to teach him. I was going to tough it out for the sake of hard-to-find Novavax, but after rude Patrick and clueless newbie, I opted to leave instead.

They never find my specialty medication and today they didn't and had a "devil may care attitude". I received a text today from CVS Specialty confirming my medication was delivered to CVS and they insisted it wasn't there. Ridiculous.

This is the nicest drug store in the area. Always clean and their staff is always so friendly. Skip Walgreens and come here! You’ll get out in half the time! Always has everything you need.If you need any assistance, ask Ginger!

Sold me a 130$ google card that doesn't work. Not the first time I've had a problem at this location. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy! Buyer Beware!!!!!!

Absolutely the worst pharmacy I've ever dealt with. My son is a type 1 diabetic, and even after several years with CVS, they bill things to the wrong insurance, they don't have his supplies in stock, they take 15-20 minutes to answer the phone, then leave me on hold for another 15. They've even told me that a brand new prescription is expired. The pharmacist is wonderful, but the rest of the staff is rude and poorly trained. We started going there because it's literally 3 minutes from my house, but I'd rather make the drive to another pharmacy than continue to deal with this place.
