“Apex roofed our house and garage this summer. ****** was our contractor. He went over everything with us from start to finish. Any questions we had was taken care of right away. “I came in for some mezcal but I didn’t know much about the stuff. The woman running the place stopped what she was doing as soon as she saw me and walked me to the area where they stocked it, and spent time helping me understand what they had and the differences between the types. She also gave me some tastes of a few to help me make a decision. As I write this, I’m enjoying a lovely glass of what she helped me pick out. This little place is tucked off the main road but well worth your visit”
“I use to come in this store all the time when it was a clothing store.The first time I walked in there I was like OMG how different it looks.It was super clean,neat,organized and everything.It's a big store and they had everything and everything was so organized it was easy to find what I was looking for.The cashier was so nice to me..she helped me find everything I wanted cause I was kind of in a rush and the store is so huge...but yes she helped.I will always shop there when I need something because they have it All.And nice owners and workers there.”
“Woodman’s Market in Rockford is my go-to grocery store for its unbeatable selection, competitive prices, and 24-hour convenience. Unlike other supermarkets, they offer an impressive variety of products, from everyday essentials to specialty and international items that are hard to find elsewhere. Their bulk section is particularly great for stocking up on pantry staples at a lower cost.
One of the standout features is the massive produce section. Everything is fresh, well-stocked, and reasonably priced. I especially appreciate the selection of organic fruits and vegetables, which are often fresher and more affordable compared to other local stores. The dairy and frozen sections are also extensive, with a huge range of brands, including some regional favorites.
Service-wise, the staff is generally helpful, especially at checkout and in the liquor department, where they are knowledgeable about their vast beer and wine selection. Self-checkout lanes make the process quicker, but peak hours can still get busy, so I recommend shopping during off-peak times to avoid long lines.
The only downside is that Woodman’s doesn’t bag groceries for you, so be prepared to bring your own bags or use the bagging area to pack up yourself. The store layout is also quite large, which can be overwhelming for first-time visitors, but once you get used to it, it’s easy to navigate.
Overall, Woodman’s Rockford offers excellent value, an extensive selection, and a no-frills shopping experience that keeps me coming back. Highly recommended for anyone looking to save money without sacrificing quality or variety.”
“I do not live in Rockford but travel here a couple of times each year.
I make a point of stopping by Binny's, just to see what they have.
I am a bourbon and whiskey aficionado so I usually start with that aisle. I've been using more rum lately so I also scoped out the rum aisle.
I found a rum I had on my shopping list, Pusser's British Blue Label Rum, so I grabbed that.
I also had some bitters on my shopping list. I am always happy with the selection of not only liquors but also with the selection of cocktail ingredients.
Staff was cheerful and helpful as always.

“It is a great place overall, but like everything, it's not perfect. Nothing in this world is perfect, just like this store. I have been here countless times, and everything is priced pretty good, looks like a good alcohol section (I'm not over 21 so take this with a grain of salt) anyways the reason I have given this 4 stars is because, most of the food is expired. The food that is expired is mostly just the pizzas and other frozen objects. All the drinks are fine same for the candy, chips, and all the health products. If someone wanted to get some chips and drinks for a party I would easily recommend this place since it's local, kinda cheap, and has a good selection of products.”

“The first time I was in a Woodman's I was mind-blown at how massive they are ! To those outside of the midwest I wonder what your grocery store equivalent is ? I've never been in a Wegman's but I imagine it is something on that scale. Costco is large too but in a different way.Not sure what to add about this Woodman's but I am always in awwww of how much there is here ! “I always love shopping here. The owner keeps the place nice, clean, and always well stocked with a wide variety of drinks and mixers. Not only that but the staff is friendly and helpful, always willing to answer any questions you may have. “Went in looking for a specific wine for my sister’s graduation and the worker/cashier was very happy to help! Even though the store did not have it stocked he called the surrounding stores to see which one had it then gave me directions to the shop after calling one of the store workers. Very professional and wonderful experience all around, I truly recommend Cork Keg & Spirits and it’s workers!!! :)”
“Good People...... Liquor store on one side and a bar on the other side. You can also cash checks on the liquor store side for a fee which is seriously convenient. Advice......Don't sign the check before you go in though. Let them see the check with your ID and they will tell you when to sign the check.”

“The prices are why I keep coming back. Much lower than anywhere in town. Sometimes there can be a bit of a wait to get to a pump, but they are building another station across the road and that should help alleviate the issue. Be aware, it's either prepay, debit or Discover. They don't accept Visa or MasterCard credit cards.”
