The lady didn't know her products I was given a ticket # from us cellular tech support and told by them to take the modem and the ticket# to the us cellular store the lady didn't look up the number when I told her I had a ticket # for her to look up. I have had this modemfor 11 months the modem is outdoor modem is starting to drop the internet on me. The lady asked for assistants the guy with out looking just agreed with her I was severely annoyed at this point. I didn't catch the ladies name but but she was the shorter skinny Latina girl long nails she didn't ask me my security question either to verify it was me. The stocky white guy didn't even look at what she was looking up.
This was the the store in Machesney park on west lane road off of route 173 infront of target

Went to see about getting my phone upgraded. Was met right inside the door, the store was completely empty and after our encounter with the employee it was no wonder why. We were met by a rude condescending minimum wage employee who reluctantly looked up my information. He told me I would have to call customer service, i explained that that's who sent me to store.. He then said well can't help you let me walk you out as he shoo'ed us out the door.

Worst experience!!! They lie about what you're getting and the cost then you get your first bill and it's double what they said and it's too bad for you. Highly recommend ANY other company, I switched from Verizon because they told me I'd be paying less and I'm paying WAY more than I did there.

Stopped by to ask for a SIM card, was told I had to wait over an hour and a half for them to simply hand me a card, no account access required, literally a 5 second process. They refused to help me.

Generally, I'm impressed by US Cellular's customer service. So, I was surprised when I left this location frustrated after trying to buy a phone and service, and being denied. My license had recently expired, and I was not of the lucky Illinois residents that got to renew online, so I was out of luck until I could get time off work and an appointment scheduled to renew. The state of Illinois understood this and had issued an extension until July 31st. I brought up and explained the ID situation immediately, and asked if I could still set up service with my ID in its extended validity status. I was initially told yes, and started speaking with an associate about plans/options. Another employee that was listening to our conversation actually interrupted us, and told me they couldn't start service for me. I asked why, "policy" was the reply of course. I pointed out the extension, and it's not really against policy, because it's not really expired. Even so, it's a state issued drivers license, it's obviously me, it's just a couple months expired. "Do you not have the ability to help me, or are you just no GOING to help me?", was my last question before leaving. "I'm just not going to help you", was her final answer before this store lost my business forever. I left, and a little while later was walking out out anther US Cellar location with the new IPhone and service this store had just turned away. In a world where most everything is done online, not face-to-face, not in a store, it's kinda important that consumers actually do get help when they go into a brick and mortar establishment. Otherwise, there is no actual use for said establishment. That starts with the employees actually wanting to help the customer, and make money (that second part is pretty crucial). I would say that I would like to see a change in management in this store, but truth is, (like most people in this situation) I'll probably never go in this location again over this

Absolutely horrible. Waited three hours today only to be treated very rudely by their employee ( blonde younger guy with thin blonde hair) . Was asking him questions about the phones and he said “well I already told you this”. Very rude . I would not recommend this location.
