We got here and the “system was down” and they don’t know how long it will be until we can check in. This was after 5 hours of driving
Edit we just came back an hour later, the computer was still down but now they offered us an option to check in via paper.. this wasn’t available an hour ago? Wasted our time for no reason
Edit 2x: then we get to the room and we booked a king and it’s a double queen. This place gets better and better

What do you know, another wonderful experience at the Macomb Hampton!! I tell you what, if you want I great stay with above and beyond service, go see Brian and Ronalyn at the Hampton. They know the meaning of good customer service and always do it with a smile on their face. Thanks again for the assistance today Brian, you guys are the best.

Wonderful little hotel in a quaint little town. Stayed there a lot over the last two years as our son attended WIU. Very clean and staff very friendly from top to bottom. Made it feel like a nice little home away from home. Thank you!

It is a pretty nice hotel considering where its at. Everything was nice. Clean rooms, nice breakfast. They did just clean the carpets during my stay. Only issue i had and this isnt over the whole hotel view was my last night stay i heard water coming down in my bathroom. Went and checked it out to see that the crack in the ceiling i had seen on the first day had a good amount of water coming down from it. Now the room above me was showering or whatever. Dont know if they was getting a whole bunch of water out the tub but either way the crack was already there so this was already an ongoing issue. I went to the front desk did tell the person working that night about it. Kind of got an i dont care about it because its not my issue demeaner from them. They did take a pic of it off of my phone. But what gave me that feeling of they didnt care was it had not even been a min and their buddy or whoever came in and they ignored me in a sense to talk to them. Told them they should definitely look into the issue seeing that if it was dirty shower water coming down that would be a biohazard and it could cause mold or the ceilng drywall to collapse while another guest is in the room or the shower. Whether its a busted pipe or as i said just water from them coming out of shower it should be delt with accordingly. Just felt i needed this to out there this way over the person i talked to as they seemed to not care. Other than that my stay was pleasant

Very nice hotel. Recently built or renovated. Everything was good.
Most expensive hotel in Macomb. I'll probably look for a lower price hotel for next time.

I think this is one of the recent hotel in macomb. Small city but people visit here for WIU related matters including graduation ceremony.

Nice motel.. work pays and rooms are all decently clean.. some floors ypu can tell the cleaning people are not as diligent. Remember in a motel look behind the bathroom door in the corner.. stuff built up a little not cleaned very well.. alot of stuff in corner then ypu ate at a 50 dollar a night motel. Hot breakfast.. ok. Nothing spectacular. They gave us like snack packs the first few days we were there and then they stopped.. said for onl6 diamond members. I guarantee with the amount of rooms we stay in the days and months steady at this motel I'm sure my boss has enough points for all of us to be diamond... they won't let us have the points for the rooms we stay in because he pays.. anyways.. ya there were ants in one of the rooms I was in.. I told them in the morning that night I came back I didn't see any.. reception people are nice.. so all good
Rooms: Rooms are nice.. clean and comfortable.. I do not like the big fluffy pillows hard to get my neck comfortable.. if I come back much more I will bring my own pillows.. but very soft.. water pressure is decent.. the have shampoo and body wash in the shower.. not nasty looking like cheaper motels well kept and clean bottles
Nearby activities: Food near Walmart near.. farm king near.. no bars really close by unless you consider bws a bar.. I do not..

I was looking at hotels in a different city and this one was advertised first on the list. I booked a room thinking it was in the correct city 40 miles away. 1 minute later I tried to cancel the room and found out today they denied my cancellation and took full payment.
Edited after response, I contacted priceline 1 minute after the booking and they said it would be escalated to your company if they would accept the cancellation. I was informed today it was denied.
