My room smelled like mold it was a downstairs room no ice no coffee no breakfast the beds were comfortable the bathrooms had mold on the ceiling in the bathroom and rust on the shower curtain rods the man wasn't nice to me he actually scared me I'm now currently chilling at a hotel at least I will get breakfast and without the mold smell

Clean. Kinda odd rules. Not allowed to sit outside your room in the evening. That one is a first and I have stayed in a lot of motels. Prison rules.

I called the Star Motel two days prior to my family’s trip to Macomb. Ken the owner took my call and was very help and pleasant to speak with. I book the room easily and told him my check on time. The property is older but it is in excellent condition and close to many local businesses and restaurants. The room was very clean and affordable as well. My advice to travelers save time and money and book here compared to the 200 a night sold out Hampton next door.
