I got into the post office at ten forty.Because it says they close at eleven I go in for 4 minutes. It's 10:44, now I stand there. I yelled to the back. I've opened and closed the door several times because that the door has a bell on it. Someone finally after about 7 minutes. I guess they don't have a uniform because the guy comes out. Do-rag over his dreads. Gray sweatpants falling off of his butt, so now federal workers don't have uniform and every Post Office. I've gone into there. They were wearing a uniform. This was utterly horrible, trying to mail one package with the horrible service.

Customer service is trash. I got all the way to the counter. Guy asked me what can I do for you? I replied, "Can you ship this for me? He said No! We closed at 430pm. Who closes the store before locking the doors? What really had me irate, I get out to my truck and look at my phone. It's 4:29. Lol lazy employees need fired! Bottom line!

I was supposed to receive a package from Avon last week. An Avon representative stated it was tracked to my door step and my mother in law was here all day. Not even a mailman walked by all day. I attempted to call and it stated my hold time was 2 hrs. I work from 8 to 5, M-F so how am I supposed to be on the phone 2 hours. Finally I tried stopping in on Saturday morning at 10:00 am and to my surprise the doors were lock and hours of service on the door states they close at 11:00 am. USPS this may be why so many customers opt for ups or fedex. I would still like to know where my Avon package is.

Postal delivery service is horrible. The carriers leave cards saying no one is at home when someone is always there each time. They do not ring the doorbell to alert someone there is a package requiring a signature. Instead they will leave an attempted delivery card that says no one was available. I caught one leaving the card as I watched out my window and told him, I am here why didn't you ring the doorbell? I also caught another one tapping on the door very quietly as if to say I knocked and no one answered. Then to top it off the same guy who did it gave us some of our neighbors mail. I talked to a supervisor at the local post office and they didn't care at all. I've complained several times and no one listens or cares. Then I have to jump through hoops and figure out which Post Office it is at because it's been left with Granite City Post Office and sometimes Madison. The card doesn't even tell you which Post Office. Just unprofessional and rude. Citizens shouldn't have to put up with that especially since tax dollars are paid. We have a right to have our mail delivered hassle-free. Really makes me want to move to a different area so I'm treated with respect as a town citizen. My tax dollars contribute alot to this township. I belong to the Farm Bureau as well. I think it's time to relocate.
