“Love this Little convenience store. I've lived on the west side of Champaign basically my whole life. I've shopped at this store for a long time. Love the family that owns this location. They are very kind and helpful. Always looked out for certain items I've asked for. They also never let me leave upset. Seriously for a little convenience shop they run there's with love and compassion. Goes a long way in today's standard's.”
“As a casual Nintendo fan who had recently seen the Super Mario Galaxy Movie, I was curious to find out more about this “Star Fox” character that kept appearing near the end of the film. After some extensive research however, I discovered that Star Fox is in fact a reference to this liquor store in east-central Illinois. Apparently Fox’s desire to live dangerously, perform barrel rolls, and do good “for the right price” are all references to this adult beverage establishment. In the end credits when Fox fixes up his warp drive and heads home, he must have been headed back to his store in Champaign, Illinois.
Personally I think it was an odd choice to include a liquor mascot in a film mostly marketed to children, but he was the coolest part of the movie, so who am I to judge?”

“Fine but does not hold a candle to the pre-renovated 2011 Piccadilly campus store. That crew - Amp, X-Ray, Sunshine, Likes, and all the rest were my kinda peeps despite their usual reetness.”

“My husband really loved this shop. He stopped to look for a special something. I waited in the truck with the kids and he loved it so much he came out an hour later! He said the owner was very kind and friendly and he enjoyed talking to him about all the things. It’s safe to say that any time we travel that way in the future he will be stopping again.”
