Walgreens is a pharmacy where customers can refill prescriptions, shop for health and beauty products, and get services like COVID tests and photo printing. The pharmacy staff is often described as very friendly, accommodating, courteous, efficient, and helpful, with employees who go the extra mile. Many visits are reported as pleasant, good experiences with pharmacists and techs who work very hard. However, the pharmacy is also frequently described as incredibly overworked and understaffed, a chronic problem that shows. There are always long lines in the drive-thru and inside the store no matter the time of day, leading to frustrating waits. The staff operates in a high-stress environment. There have also been instances of poor customer service, such as appointment cancellations without notification, which customers feel is a waste of time. Despite the staffing challenges, the pharmacists and techs remain helpful, doing their best to provide good service, including offering money-saving recommendations for prescriptions.
I always love going to the mahomet Walgreens. I am typically greeted when I walk through the door, I'm always helped if I ever need it, and when I check out I love the conversations that I get into! Typically they are stocked with what I am needing.

Today I had a covid test done by a lovely employee who works in the pharmacy, Katie. She took the time out of her busy day to chat with me. We had a little heart to heart moment. You’re awesome Katie! Thank you ☺️
