Cute place - thats it. People that work there might be the most unfriendly people I have ever met - consistently - every time I go, same rude owners and staff.
Except the rock store on the North end - they aren't rude, at least.

Weekends are the best time to go to get in the shops.
Bring cash.
Grab some coffee or ice cream.
Walk in the garden (behind the building).
Unique items available. (Rocks, jewelry and clothes.)

I absolutely love Makanda!!! Such a unique and truly beautiful spot!!! The crystal shop is my favorite place in this part of the country to be honest!!! So many magical items and crystals to choose from!!! Very kind and knowledgeable owners too!!!
I also love the little park in the back of the shop front!!! It's a nice place to relax and enjoy nature after shopping!!! 10/10 would recommend!!!
