I took my car to Central Mufflers in Manhattan and received excellent service. They were professional, courteous and honest. I thought I needed a muffler and after examining my car the technician told me I didn't need a muffler and quoted a much less expensive repair! Can't get any better than an honest technician!

Great job guys!! Tom and Kerri who retired will be happy to know their original customers are still being served with the same great service at the same location.I had a breakdown late in the afternoon, and Daniel made sure to could give a diagnosis before they closed. Thanks Daniel, you eliminated my worst worries that day and I slept better than expected.The next day, after Gustavo was able to make sure they found the problem, I was able to drive away at a reasonable and fair price after they received the parts my vehicle needed.I highly recommend calling Daniel and Gustavo before you take your vehicles to anyone else.Support your local businesses. I needed new breaks and calibers, I went to Midas at first but they wanted to charge $1,300, came here and they charged $500. It also used to be different owners but the new owners are just as great

DO NOT GO TO. Went here, they told me I needed a new motor. Almost spend $2k on a rebuilt motor, but instead got a second opinion and went to another shop in New lenox and all it was was a cracked valve. They are lazy and not reliable. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY

State Street Auto was great! The owner had shown me how the last oil time I had my oil changed, that place had sheered my oil bolt. He was able to locate the part and repair all in one day as well as changing my oil. Thank you for such great customer service.
