Update i said id never b back but i had no choice-needed car oil. Person working the counter 10/29/24 at 1:20ish pm was WONDERFUL. super friendly helpful quick , you need to have them train ALL THE EMPLOYEES . Someone like that could save ur business.
I see why rating is so low lady working that counter should just quit if she hates it so much never comin back rude as heck. Getting gas is like pulling teeth here.

My husband & I went to BP in Manteno on Rt. 45 today, May, 4, 2024, and we got gas and a car wash, but I went inside and paid for the car wash because numerous times, when paid for at the pump, you don't get the tri color soap. You get the pre soak only! But gas was $3.64 with a car wash and because I went inside to pay for car wash we didn't get the car wash price for gas. (Total gas price was $42) My husband went in and talked to a lady and after a wee bit of a hard time she gave him a free car wash for the difference. That was nice!
But I went through the car wash with the ticket that I paid the $10 for, and I didn't get the tri color soap, only the presoak! Next time I go through that car wash, I am going to record it because they acted like I was trying pull a fast one or something.
When I went inside to tell her I didn't get the wash only a presoak, she said I already gave your husband a free car wash and I can't do anything for you. (that was for the gas price difference) There was a male cashier in there now also, and he was super ignorant. Acted like I was trying to rip them off. He wouldn't even listen to me, he talked louder and said see a manager tomorrow.
I wasn't asking for anything that I didn't pay for, but they were acting as if I was. I certainly wasn't! I only wanted the car wash that I paid for!
I will go through the inconvenience of going back tomorrow to talk to a manager and hope I get what I paid for!

Early morning fog, sun coming through the soft clouds as truckers move in and out in delicate dance that can only be shared by fellow driver's from around the world.
This gas station is pretty large for the area it's in. It's a small rural farm town, yet the Minitmart is half truck stop, half lunch. There is a Dunkin' donuts there, a large selection of whatever you might need based upon how many rows of stuff there were, and the employees are extremely friendly.
One of the inventory management team that was there was even polite enough to stop what she was doing to assist me in finding what I needed. I highly recommend this place to anyone traveling though Manteno, IL.
