“I was looking for a hotel awhile back, and I chose this location. This place is nostalgic to me, because I remember being a little girl having a birthday party here. It’s nice to see the updates between then and now. The service was awesome and the small-town hospitality is hard to beat. The bathroom was so clean and so was the rest of the room and building. I unfortunately didn’t make it to breakfast, but the lady who checked me in sounded excited about it. It’s nice to know that when out-of-towners stop for a night or so, they will get a nice taste of Kankakee county.”
“This is a very clean Hampton Inn both inside and outside. I had a mechanical issue in my room, but the morning manager Jessica was amazing how she handled it. I would definitely recommend this Hampton Inn. Great location”

“So evidently, that side of town is going out of business. But the hotel was ok. The pool was out of order. The room service didn't do any room service. We expected to come back to things like the trash taken out, coffee restocked towels, and washcloths restocked... normal room service. Yeah, non of that here. The breakfast was ok, nothing to brag about. For whatever reason they put us the handicap room. I didn't mind it but it seemed like they could of saved it for someone in need. Im sure they had other king bedrooms available....”
“My daughter had to do a SCUBA Certification at Haigh Quarry. The location was ideal in the room worked out pretty well. The first and best compliment I can make is that unlike most shower/tub that I’ve ever stayed at in various other hotels three and four star the shower drained perfectly instead of standing in an inch of water.
We stayed on the first floor near smoking room rooms and our non-smoking room had no actual smell of smoke. Slight smell in the hallways, but that’s reality if you have actual smoking room rooms.
Very nice clean place to stay minimal breakfast with all that we needed to be able to get going for the day

“If you're looking for a five star hotel, this isn't it. But if you need a clean place to stay with a decent room on a budget, this is the place. I've been in hotels at $120+ night that look more run down, old and beat up than this place. Common areas are clean, staff was friendly. Room was clean and tidy, well furnished and quite large. The only disappoint was the water closet (tub and toilet) - newer toilet, but the tub needed an update, the door and wall paint/plaster was old and shoddy and the steel door frame was starting to rust. But for under $85/night, I would not complain at all!”
