I have never had such a bad experience as I have with the service team here. My car has been there for months and I have not heard one thing from them. I’ve called, gone in, and each time they mumble some irrelevant excuse as to why they are not working on my car. It’s nearing the expiration of the warranty now, and it is clear what is going on. Just because I am a single mom and I’ve been so kind they think they can just ignore me and neglect the situation. I have had it and I am filing a complaint with the attorney general, BBB and calling ford hq. Ffs.

Jim Steele is the guy to see! Had a great experience with him. He was right to the point with zero pushy salesman tactics. He answered all my questions honestly and never once did I feel like I was being pushed to buy a car. He made the process easy and when I’m ready for my next vehicle Taylor Ford of Manteno will be my first stop!

This far, Taylor ford has been pretty good to me, I’ve only dealt with their service department. I was told about Taylor ford because I wasn’t a fan of Court street ford and started to come here. I haven’t had a bad experience and hope I don’t. They have been pretty accommodating and helpful. I would recommend them for any of your service needs, great people there. Keep up the great work!

Same things just dont change i stayed away from this dealership for almost 5 years after my last interaction with them....
i originally wasn't going to post a review, till i received a letter from capital one( 11/08/25), back on 9/17/25 i came in and looked at a truck, the salesman i talked was good, hes not the issue, thhe dealership its self is, i was told by a gentleman in finance that i was approved, but they wanted a very large down payment 20k, on a 33k truck. i received a letter from capital one stating i was approved but the dealership didnt agree on the terms, i called capital on on this letter and they told me over the phone and explained the letter more, capital one was wanting to offer me gap insurance and a warranty, and a much lower down payment ford of manteno, didnt agree on the terms
On 9/18/25 i went to my bank to talk to a loan specialist, told him what i was doing i pulled up the truck, looked over the info that was posted, when i told him they was 20k as a down payment he laughed, and said hes never heard of someone putting that kind of money down on a used truck regardless of make or model, i stayed away for 5 years, after this i definitely will not be stepping foot on manteno ford

AMAZING EXPERIENCE! I am usually very hesitant when it comes to car dealerships and car dealers in general. Not this time. Jim Steele at Taylor Ford of Manteno was AWESOME! He was patient with us, and made sure we got a vehicle we both wanted. Very helpful and knowledgeable. As long as Jim Is in the business I will always be coming in to see him.
