The bakery is consistently out of bread. I’ve never seen anything like it. Walk through the dept on Sunday mornings and there’s a bunch of full carts with unbaked products blocking the way and nothing is on the shelves?! At this point I’d be happy to buy it uncooked and bring it home to bake myself lol. Not to mention the employees won’t make eye contact or acknowledge you are there to buy something.

The ONLY reason to go to go to Kroger's is if WalMart is out of what you need. VERY overpriced, and they play gotcha by only giving you a SLIGHTLY better price if you scan a loyalty card. The self checkout is the worst of them all. The carousel has 2 bays that face away, which makes it easy to leave behind things you have scanned and paid for. I tried to put stuff I have scanned and bagged back into my cart to avoid this. Well, that just freezes the whole process until someone comes over and inspects things to make sure you aren't stealing. I hate being made to feel like a criminal just trying to scan and pay for my purchases and get out the door without forgetting anything I have bought. Awful, awful overpriced, dingy looking store. Stay far far away unless you can't get something you need somewhere else. I wish we had a Schnuck's. Meanwhile, I spend almost all my money at Walmart. On the plus side, the deli is pretty good if you can get any of the employees to stop whatever they are working on and wait on you.

This is about their online order pickup, I have not had any issues with the store in the 40 years I've been shopping there. I recently had major surgery, and I had someone waiting at home to carry in my groceries. I realized when my friend was carrying everything in that a big portion of my order wasn't in the trunk, so I called the store and was given to a female employee named Stella. I asked about the missing items, she replied that she was staring right at them and if I still wanted them, I should come back or she would put them back in stock. No apologies, just "We made a mistake". I didn't want to go into detail with her, but I asked if they still did delivery; she snorted and said "No, no, no, you're going to have to come back". I told her that I was on my way, and she just hung up. She is the one who brought the items out when I arrived, and again, no apology. She slammed my items into the trunk, and then stomped off back towards the store. I didn't get angry until I had to deal with Stella and her bad attitude, this was no way to treat a customer who's spending their money at your store. I get it...everyone makes mistakes, and mine was placing an online order at the Marion Kroger store.

Cashier would not swipe "his" Kroger card for me. I've been there before and they have done it. I guess the man didn't like my skin color.

To start they have no checkouts open only self checkout. Of which only one person to help. Who just sends you to the customer service which has no employees. When one finally comes they call for a manager who never answers the pa request for assistance. 30 plus minutes of eating. No help whatever. Still no manager. I am very disappointed.

Fruits were not fresh. Prices were extremely high $20 for detergent and $18 for fabric softener. Couldn't find items I wanted like cinnabon coffee or turkey and cheese sandwich hot pockets. If you don't have a Kroger card you don't get a discount.

Online grocery ordering has been an epic failure for me several times. The first few, I let it go. I understand staffing issues and such.
This last issue was too much. I can only warn others to be careful with pricing issues (they will not honor)
Customer service with corporate (sorta) handled the situation but was unprofessional and rude.
I guess you live and learn and shop elsewhere.
