This company discriminates against minority customers today Larry stepped one foot in our home for a pre-survey and stated he was uncomfortable and refused to move our family because he did not want his company involved in anything SHADY.

I give them points for being fast and capable. I was most impressed at the speed which Stan and Jerry worked. However Jerry's attitude the whole time was very poor. I understand he didn't like cat hair due an allergy but still the level of contempt and negativity coming from him the entire time was extremely off putting.

Movers were late, took multiple smoke breaks, long lunch, mia for 2.5 hours in between the move. Then hung out and smoked after. We gave them permission to charge a certain amount due to all the down time then found out the manager or owner charged card the entire amount. Items were broken, personal items, front door of new house. The carpet in the old house has to be professionally cleaned. Trash and cigarette butts thrown every where. They argued and showed irritation about the amount of work with the move. They took our home defense weapon out of the nightstand and unloaded it. Without permission. Along with money taken out of the drawer. I have tried calling multiple times, sent Facebook messages, and contacted the BBB. They can’t even get a response. Some items that were broken can’t be replaced as they were items from my kids childhood. The unprofessional behavior of this company is beyond words.

I have used this company several times to move my offices without any issue. However, we will not be asking for any future service from Muscle Relocation (MR). We hired MR to move our home and it was quite the unprofessional experience starting with Larry the supervisor/manager. Larry’s customer service is far from professional. His estimating skills are even more so off base. Larry feels that all homes are the same….and total cost can be estimated by number of bedrooms. As he said, “He doesn’t have time to go and look at what needs moved…he’s too busy”. So even after being told, why even consider a home’s square footage?? In his estimation, …..a three bedroom home is a three bedroom home…they are all the same. The fact that he didn’t want to come and review the amount of work in order to provide a reasonable estimate of time and cost (as other professional movers have done in the past) should have been a clear warning. Larry only provide us with an unreasonable timeline and an hourly rate of 170 per hour for 3 guys. His workers had no clue of what was being asked and were unprepared for the job. Realistically, since Larry had no idea….how could his workers?? Although the actual movers seemed to be nice guys and most of them worked pretty hard, they were NOT AT ALL professional movers but just average guys working at moving items and at $56.67 “per hour” “per mover,” standing around not knowing what you are doing adds up quick. They didn’t arrive at the stated times. Day 1, they didn’t even arrive at the correct house. They arrived at the destination home and only after speaking to that home’s owner, did they figure out they were at the wrong starting point. Therefore got to correct home 2 1/2 late due to incorrect starting point but also apparently certain workers didn’t even show up (another quit on the job only after working 1 hour). Day 2 - we offered an early start because they were obviously behind as well as offering to beat the heat….said they would arrive by 7am…showed up at 8:30….you get the point. The also didn’t come prepared, no tools (borrowed our screwdrivers, socket set, etc.), brought no water during heat index of 105 (yes they borrowed our cooler and went and bought some bottled water while on our clock), used our furniture mover dolly which they thought “was pretty cool”! Long story short…2 and 1/2 days later…..we finally got moved ACROSS TOWN (Marion, IL). We have had multiple experiences with professional movers….Muscle Relocation are not professional movers! By the way…..we did get a $215 discount on our over $3,315 bill but only because we expressed our displeasure…..it wasn’t offered due to their poor work…..we had to ask. We considered it rental for our tools and cooler.

The guys did a great job! They were friendly and professional. They saved me money by thinking ahead to use 1 storage unit instead of 2. They will be working for me again soon.

Had made plans to move at 9am on a Tuesday. They called on Monday pushing the time to 10:30. Received call on day of move 30 mins before they were to arrive stating they only had one guy they were sending. They were still going to charge full price. When we tried to call them back they wouldn't answer the phone. We called from another number they immediately answered and only after realizing it was us calling the hung up on us. Definitely would not recommend these movers even to move my dogs house.

Do not use this company. They showed up late, took smoke breaks, 1.5 hour lunch, mia for 2.5 hours between houses, then charged us for all of that time without permission. Things were broken, they complained the whole time, threw trash in both houses, broke the screen door on the new house, the carpet in the old house was so dirty it had to be professionally cleaned. I called and sent Facebook messages and can't get anyone to call me back. Filed a complaint with the BBB and they also can't get a response. I can't say enough negative things.
