I cannot say enough about Jim and the service he provides. Besides being very good at what is does, he is also a pleasure to work with. I have 1992 mustang in my garage that would not start. Jim painstakingly took the time to troubleshoot an issue others might of given up on. He finally narrowed it down to the ECM. Once the new computer was installed, the mustang started like a champ. Jim also took the time to replace the fuel pump relay, change the oil and replace the spark plugs. All down at a very reasonable cost. I highly recommend his service.

I had an excellent experience with Jim from On-Site Mechanics. He arrived on time, was very knowledgeable, and his pricing was reasonable—no surprise fees or hidden costs. It was refreshing to find such great service, and I highly recommend this mobile mechanic to anyone in need of reliable automotive service!

The best luck I’ve had in a long time finding someone honest, reliable, and knowledgeable. My truck has sat at my parents house for two weeks bc I don’t make enough to afford a tow. If only I would’ve contacted Jim first. He actually beat me to my truck and had a new brake line, bent, flared, and installed in about an hour maybe less. He even noticed my evap canister was the culprit to my rusty brake line and tucked it up for me so it doesn’t rattle anymore. 10/10, have already told everybody I know about him.

Answered positively, worked with me to fix my alternator. Took week and half wait but better then 2-3 weeks quoted from other mechanics. Fair prices and even suggest tune up soon (which my car needs). But great customer service, faster then I thought. Will respond to text messages too which is amazing!

Called and explained what problem I was having with my car. He was able to give me a quote on the phone. My car couldn't be driven so it was super helpful having him come to the house to fix my problem. He quoted me fairly with an itemized invoice. Definitely will be calling again if my car ever needs fixed, and I will recommend him to everyone I know.

My husband and I, David and Kathy Smits, just wanted to say Jim of On-Site Mechanics did an awesome job with our vehicle. It had been misdiagnosed by the staff of another shop. They thought the mass air flow sensor, the vapor canister and purge valve needed replaced. In the meantime our car was running worse and worse. They quoted $1,400 for the job. We wanted a second opinion because the parts and labor were so expensive. A friend recommended Jim. He took the time to get down to the root of the problem. He was patient and efficient. The convenience of him coming to our place to do the work was great too. He first took care of the plugs and wires. He showed me the condition of the plugs. He then ruled out everything it wasn't. He decided it was the fuel injector. Now that he replaced the fuel injector our car runs as good as it did when we got it used! It is a 2004 Toyota Highlander with 284,887 miles on it. He saved us lots of money and charged a fair price. We highly recommend him and will always go to him from now on anytime we need work done on the car. He explained everything to us and is very honest. He truly cares about his customers and wants to help them get their cars running as they should! We're very grateful to have had Jim of On-Site Mechanics recommended to us! Had we not met Jim we would have spent a lot of money and the car still wouldn't have been fixed. I had a situation Friday evening.. My upper radiator hose broke and I also needed the thermostat housing replaced. Unfortunately this is the only vehicle I have and the dealership that I usually take it to said it would be Monday or Tuesday before they could get to it. I would also had to have paid to have it towed to the dealership.Friday afternoon I did stop at an auto shop in Marion. Had never been there before and probably won’t be going back. They quoted me way more just for the housing thermostat. A friend of mine asked me Friday night if I had thought of going to one of the auto parts store here in town to see if they had the parts and what they would cost. I called to an auto parts store here in Marion Saturday morning. They had the part. But of course they don’t install. I asked them if they knew if someone that did. They gave me jim@ on site mechanics #. I called him and he was able to replace both parts Saturday afternoon and charged me way less than the other auto place wanted just for the housing thermostat. You were a God send Jim. I will refer you to everyone I know. Thank you!!!
