“A southern Illinois staple! I have frequented this store for over 20 years and will continue to do so. Great renovations, very inviting atmosphere. Love to see it! This is a fine establishment. Whether you are running in for supplies, or bringing the whole family in to spark wonder; This place has it covered. The staff are more knowledgeable than zookeepers I've spoken to in the past, ready and willing to help, and quite passionate about the animals.”

“Was in Sunday 11/12/23 to purchase mouse traps and dog treats (Odd combo I know) Carla went above & beyond helping us find the mouse traps and was extremely amiable. We had our male Mastiff (Marshall) with us and although at 130 lbs can be intimidating he is very sweet and all the employees acknowledged him. Great store - amazing people”
