No clue why this place gets such good reviews. Every time I stop in to check out the beer/wine/hard cider selection i come away empty handed.
I was told from the folks at Brick River on Saturday that its ciders are sold at Speakeasy. But I stopped in Saturday and was informed they no longer stock Brick River.
Checked on prices for Purple Toad wines as well as Stag beer, a local favorite, and both were $2 more than a BP off the Benton exit on Interstate 57.
Speakeasy is dimly lit and has a less than stellar variety.. next time I'm in the area I'm stopping at the Benton BP.

Really nice selection of alcohol here and the prices were decent as well. Friendly service and a humidor room if that’s your thing

Just passing through town and found the beer I wanted there since gas stations don't sell in that county/city.

Prices are really high here, I feel like they're price gouging against a working class community. The checkout lady was friendly though.
