Only bank I have encountered that refuses to take your money.
I highly recommend not banking here, you be better off putting your money under the mattress.
Customer service is a joke!!
This is the only bank that won't accept my money to put into my checking account.
Yesterday I wasn't feeling well, so my friend deposited money into my account.
Today I still wasn't feeling well so I asked my friend to deposit more money to my account, so that I was able to pay my bills today.
To my dismay, they refuse to take my money because I wasn't present? I wasn't there yesterday either? Different rules for different days?
So I had to take my sick coronavirus 19 body into the bank to resolve this issue.
Customer service was rude, obnoxious, even refusing to explain or hold a conversation with me.
I am currently looking for a new bank with friendly service. It's certainly not here.
If you're able to get customer service to answer the phone, then go play the lottery cuz this is your lucky day!!

This bank will close your account for inactivity WITH NO NOTICE! You won't be able to open at another bank for weeks due to their system red flagging you. I was 29 dollars negative and closed with no notice at all! This could really screw up someone's bills rent etc. I am calling corporate. I should have got the woman's name. Hung the phone up on me mid sentence. Then refused to answer it. Like a child! I went to the branch immediately and asked why she hung up on me and she DENIED IT! ?

This is the worst US Bank Branch I have ever worked with. The branch manager is very rude and very lazy. Just simply asked her to look at something’s on my account for me and she acted like it was too much work or as if I was bothering her. So in turn she closed my account, witch works out better in the end because, I will be banking elsewhere for now on. What a disgrace it is to be new to the area and to be treated this way. I would not recommend dealing with the US bank branch in Marion IL. I will have to say I have been with US Bank for a very long time and this is the first time I have been treated so badly. Such a shame that one bad egg can mess up the whole basket of eggs. If I would not be moving I would not had changed banks, but unfortunately this would be the branch I would have to deal with and after being treated so badly I will never walk back in this bank.Definitely not a welcoming environment for people coming in from out of town.

Two stars is generous. I never see more than 2 or 3 people in the building at a time anymore; the hours are horrible (9-4 Monday through Friday, and closed on Saturday). And they've done away with deposit slips. Not everyone wants to use your stupid phone app for everything. The people on the phone do well, but be prepared to wait. So much for 5-Star service. We've been with us bank since it was Mercantile, but I'm researching where we're going.

Went to deposit money in my account. Give my ID to this lady. She brings up that it’s expired but I mention how Illinois has extended the renew date for ID’s till the end of March. She goes, “uh, no.” I tried to mention it again, she mentions how the dmv has been open for months, has no idea what I’m talking about and tries to dismiss me. I looked it up and told her about the extension and she goes “that applies to certain people.” I didnt fight back. It doesn’t apply to people with commercial driver’s licenses and my basic ID was in the clear. I didn’t appreciate her pulling random information out and trying to dismiss what I was saying even though I had the information right in front of me. And especially working at a bank, that’s pretty important information to know about.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I deposited a check with us bank on Friday and told the funds would be in my account the following day but it’s been 3 days and no money is in my account yet. They are saying it is because my account is new and it takes 5-7 business days to “process and verify” my checks to make sure they are not fraudulent. Funny thing is the check is from my employer that I work at 5 days a week. Unbelievable. The inconvenience of holding peoples money when they have bills to pay, kids to take care of, and responsibilities means nothing to these people. Even if my account is new, 5-7 business days to verify the funds is absurd. I’ve never even heard of that from the banks that I’ve dealt with in the past. I will be closing my account as soon as I get my money and do not recommend. Hardworking man, father can’t even trust a bank with his funds. Unbelievable and unacceptable.

Their ATM is never working, and employees are never wearing masks. There aren’t enough branches of this bank in the area to make it a good idea to use them.

I went to make my house payment since I can't pay on line with their website because I don't have a checking with them. I live out of town so Saturdays is when I go. Only to find out now they are not open on Saturdays anymore. People do work still and can't go during the week. Who ever is making poor decisions needs to go. Yes I can call a payment in for extra money.

Went to this bank to make a deposit and spent an hour in line at the drive thru because there was only one teller in the bank. Since the bank is only open 5 hours a day, this is totally unacceptable. Most people do not have an hour to waste sitting in line. It's time to open the lobby and have more tellers available.

By far the worst banking establishment I've ever dealt with. Branch manager refused to reopen my account after it was closed for absolutely no reason and could not give me a reason because " she didn't want to " . Like, what planet are you from? Just closed it without warning.. no email...nothing..even though theres 500$ in the account. They can go ahead and close it. I will NOT be doing business with this branch ever again and I will be reporting you.

Needed to do a transaction only to be told it would take too long to do it right now so I have to come back at a later time. I didn't close your lobby you did so now because it takes too long I cant get my money? Well done US Bank straight trash. Customer service used to be important to businesses but not anymore I guess.
