Had a manager man with bald head verbily abusing a senior of 72 me for not knowing my wellcare insurance card had been turned off jan first which i wasnt aware of I was almost in tears when I finally realized i had the wrong card and went and got the right one outside in my purse so. Let me preface by saying usually I get amazing people there that are actually helpful and knowledgeable. Otherwise there are some rude techs sometimes, and do not understand simple questions being asked and I always try to make it easier by giving the minimim pertinent background information but no matter what they seem to get confused anyway. Scary enough, it doesn't seem like many of the techs and a couple pharmacists actually know the differences in certain medicines (which you can't know them all) but looking them up with better critical thinking would be good.. That concerns me a lot but much of it they could simply do better at advising or explaining rather than brushing off. Luckily I don't give out my credentials so I'm able to see the exact behaviour a regular customer would be given and that concerns me even more because I know medicine and disease therefore can spot when "professionals" don't, the average consumer cannot. There needs to be more professionals learning to bridge that gap.This Walgreens is much better than those up in Northern Illinois, I'll give them that. This seems to be a Walgreens or certification or training issue rather than simply the type of work itself as Walmart and Meijer haven't had a lot of these issues. Walgreens is unfortunately the best option due to insurance issues.

I appreciate all the work the techs and pharmacists are doing. They are very pleasant and make an effort to get everything done in a timely manner. They are working really hard to get so many prescriptions filled, do COVID testing, vaccines, etc. so glad they have the great staff they have!

I have not had issues with "in person" experiences. But do not rely on the automated system to give you correct information about your scripts. TALK TO A REAL PERSON IN THE PHARMACY!!

They have shorted my husband's medicine by 20 pills and are refusing to make it right. I have now opened a case with BCBS for insurance fraud. I was then chased out of the store by a very heavy set woman and I feared for my life. She followed me all the way out to my car, screaming at me because I lost my temper with the pharmacist and the owner, over this matter and used foul language. I literally was running from her and I accidentally knocked some stuff off of a shelf trying to get away from her because I thought she was going to put her hands on me.

Pharm techs are wonderful, but I've had nothing but problems with LAURIE (taller blonde), the pharmacist. Every single time she handled my prescriptions they either claim the order never came through, I never recieved an alert when they were ready, they would temporarily get denied for no reason, and now the most recent, my meds started making me sick. VERY concerning behavior from someone that is supposed to help the public. She's incompetent, inefficient, and dangerous, and should be removed from such a position for the safety of the public. I would not place my trust in her to prepare prescriptions for my friends and loved ones. Now I know why the majority of people I know stay clear from the Walgreens pharmacy. Terrible.

Go to a different Walgreens Pharmacy. This particular location has the least competent pharmacy staff and constantly cause issues by skirting their duties.
