It’s always a scary thing but they keep us updated and let us know as soon as the surgery is over. “The only vet I trust. Hes been taking care of my family for years. He saved my dog from dying when at Banfield they where killing her then said they couldn't do anything for her. He saw the mistake, changed her medication, listened to me, tested her, and saved her. For those years he and his team took care of my girl and my boy. My girl would go there every month to keep her healthy and she absolutely adored going there, Dr. Valenti was there for years by our side even to the last hrs of her passing, we will forever be great full to him and his team of amazing people. Highly educated, cares about the animals and parents. You are there when he takes care of them in the same room, fantastic human being.”

Love the receptionist Becky, she has very understanding when it comes to my fur baby with him being reactive she always makes sure no one is in the lobby or bring us in a room ASAP. “For ten years I’ve taken my dog to a vet but he moved 2 hours away. So I found this hospital in my town. I’ve seen Dr. Senese twice and she is very knowledgeable and professional. She is so knowledgeable about what medicines work. I took him in for severe runs and she gave such amazing medicine that no other vets ever have. He was feeling so much better with the medicine she prescribed. Today I went for my dogs injured paw and there was a new vet I haven’t seen Dr. Balcazar and she was so compassionate and the first time my dog opened up to a vet for pets besides the one he knew since he was a puppy. He let her examine his paw and even feed him a pup cup which he’s never accepted from anyone before :0 Dr. Senese was so kind and gave some advice on what to do for his paw as well. Theres also a male vet tech who is compassionate as well that my dog really opens up to and allows to be held by when he needs his blood work. They are so compassionate m and really great at what they do. Also my dog is a 90lb Olde/American Bulldog and others vets usually get intimidated, but not here. I highly recommend you take your dogs to Suburban Animal Hospital.”

“We were running out of test strips for our diabetic cat and where we ordered from would not deliver till Monday. We have a cat that is 16 years old and diabetic for 7 of them. VCA was listed as having the test strips in stock. We called and a wonderful, sweet, kind lady named Elle understood my problem. She talked to the Tec and was able to sell the test strips. I have spent 2 days calling and going from place to place to try and get these. I have been in customer service for 40 years and Elle is an exception. She goes above and beyond to help a stranger and now a future customer. We cannot thank her enough because her service made such a huge difference. “I can't say enough good things about this place!!! We just got a new puppy and I was looking to find a new vet. From the moment we walked in, everyone was so sweet. The office was immaculate, all the staff were so helpful and made us feel so welcome. When Dr. Scott Gallatin came in the room, he made such a fuss over our Emmie, he even got down on the floor to play with her!! She was not afraid or shaking like our last dog was at the last vet we went to for years. They all went out of their way to make her feel comfortable and make it a memorable experience so she isn't scared to walk in next time. I was very impressed with everyone we came in contact with that day. “I brought my dog to see Dr. Sturms after not receiving the care I wanted for him at my local animal hospital. At the prior animal hospital, I felt that staff were poorly informed, the doctor was not thorough, was minimally helpful, and patient care was not ideal. I also felt that I was not appropriately informed of many things. When I took my dog to see Dr. Sturms, the difference in care was like night and day. It was the best decision I could have made for my dog’s care. All the staff I interacted with were kind, informed, and personable. Dr. Sturms was extremely thorough, kind, and considerate. It is clear she is well-educated, informed, and passionate about her field of work. She took into account all the questions and concerns I had, provided thorough education, and gave several different treatment options everything. She has top tier patient care and I would recommend her to anyone. She is the Michael Jordan of veterinary medicine.”

I was in a desperate situation: I had just been released from the hospital and the same day my dog’s health had declined and she needed end of life care. I called 10 local veterinary offices and was turned down by each and every one including by my own veterinary office that I have been going to for a few years. When my own vet wouldn't see me, this office stepped up and squeezed me in without hesitation. Despite being a new client, they treated me and my dog with the utmost dignity, compassion, and urgency. “Excellent veterinary clinic, advice, knowledge, and care. If you care about your furry family members, this is the place to take them. Just had my two new dogs spayed and neutered, both are healing nicely and the process went without a hitch. Only issue was that my boy wasn't a fan of finding out before the scheduled appointment that he only had 48 hours left to check his nuts. I told him, "hey buddy, you have 48 hours left." He kept the same expression for almost 5 minutes. 99% sure he completely understood me and was trying to process it. Thankfully both are healing up and healthy.”
