“This is probably the best dollar tree in the area right now. It’s always fully stocked and the workers, for the most part are genuine and kind when you walk into the store.”
“This is honestly my favorite Dollar Tree location. It honestly is always stocked and with new items that other dollar tree’s I have visited don’t necessarily have. The people working are always kind and considerate as well. For the most part it is pretty clean store too!”

“Dollar Tree on 29 in PekPin. I stopped a few times. I find it stocked with whatI want. I haven't had lines at checkout. I've noticed a couple of the employees know how to do there job well as they're timely, , and caring as you can witness yourself. Like I say, it's those things that want you to go back”
“Super friendly staff who are always willing to help. My only complaint is that it is always overcrowded with stock. The main walkways always have pallets and carts in them that you can barely walk around. There's just not enough room for everything, so displays are set up at the end of the side aisles right in the way of the main aisles. It's like dodging an obstacle course going shopping!”

“My mom, who is disabled, was there shopping with a friend of hers. After walking through the store, her legs were worn out and she was having trouble getting back into her friend’s car. The employees and the manager, Doug, were so kind and helpful and assisted in getting her back into the car and situated comfortably! We are so thankful for their help and recommend this store to everyone!”

“Out of the 3 Dollar Tree's in the Peoria area this is probably my favorite. It may be newer than the other two but that's not the reason I like it. The staff here is nicer than the one by the mall. Some people may not like the location however, I have yet to see people standing next to the door loitering. Unlike the one in Campus Town, just a few minutes away, it always has one-three people loitering and smoking.”

“If you haven't been to the dollar twenty-five store you are missing out big time. Like always you must know prices before one goes in. Something are a amazing buy and others are a hard pass. This is a great store to hit if your kid was invited to a birthday party and they just told you it is in a hour. One can get a gift bag, tissue paper, card, and tons of different toys and art things. The trash bags are a NO go. Thin and rip beyond easy. They sell lots of different holiday decorations. One can also get tons of things to make your own crafts and wreaths.”
“I fear for their safety there. You should never ever block the windows like that. An attack could be happening but no one can go in cause you cant see in. That is dangerous to the public and employees”
“The store has a very nice selection of cards by a Hallmark company. They range in price from 50 cents to $2 with most of the cards being $1. I found a very nice Father's Day card for a dollar much more reasonable than many other places. The employees were also very friendly.”
“Love this dollar tree, it’s always busy and the staff has always been very friendly to me. The snacks I buy are always fresh and I love the different stuff you can find here && I like how they have started the dollar tree plus section I got dry erase boards 2 for the piece of one at Walmart.
Never have I had a bad experience at this location.”
“The manager of this location is always helpful! Every time I go to this DG I am greeted as I enter and all employees are attentive and kind. This location is always clean and organized. I only wish it was a bigger DG.”
“Convenient Store. Where is Vern when you need him. Its a nice store just in a bad spot. I wanted buy a 24 pack of water and I didnt want to wait in line at the big box store where it would take 15 minutes to check out so I came here and it took less than 5 minutes to check out.”

“It's just another quick stop dollar general in illinois, I would rate higher, but it's a bit discouraging to see a posted sign targeting the youth. The sign stated, "Only two under 18 allowed in at a time". This coming from a "major" retailer is a bit concerning. Is it a lack of funding to implement newer security cameras ? I've been in a wide variety of dollar generals ranging from small towns up to multiple millions of residents. Why is this small town dollar general targeting the younger community?”
“Going to Dollar General was my last place to look for winter gloves for my daughter. Everyone else was sold out. They had gloves. I was able to buy my daughter 3 pairs. The cashier's were very helpful and nice.”

“I was just in the Family Dollar on Derby St. PEKIN, ILLINOIS. All i can say is WOW what a difference..I cannot believe how different the store looks! I got Valentine's Day cards when I was in there, got home and there was a shortage of the cards. I called the manager there Keisha Welker and she said she would call me back. Within 15 minutes Keyshia called me back, and shortly after that she showed up at my place of employment with the suckers and the cards. Talk about outstanding customer service!”
“The staff is great but overworked and it shows in the way the store looks, but I don't blame them!! Dollar General expects too much from the employees, stocking shelves and waiting on customers plus cleaning and theft control, too much!”
