I had a terrible experience. The delivery manager should not have a job. The system is totally broken. I had one order with a delivery window of 10 am - 2 pm. They made four deliveries in one day. Three deliveries inside the delivery window and 1 delivery came after 3:30 pm. Some of the delivery drivers and professionals and others are unprofessional. The Home Depot employees are trained to say we can't communicate with the driver. They will provide what stop they are currently at. In the future, i will pick up all my materials.

Stopped in to look at stuff to remodel my bathroom. I went from bathroom vanities to flooring to paint. No one even acknowledged I was even in the store or asked if I needed assistance. I did all my research online but wanted to come in store to purchase. But since I was invisible to each person in the departments I visited, my sale and money went elsewhere.And yes there was a associate in each department And........ It was about 6 or 8 of them at the door when I exited. I didnt even get a have a nice night.... smh

A SUPERSTAR TOOL LADY SAVES THE DAY!! I gave a 4-Star, Only Because the location needs move visible and available staff. I visited the Matteson, IL Home Depot, because I heard that they were having a Buy One and Get One or Two... Upon arrival the details of the sale and supply was kinda confusing, so after hunting down three (3) staff members, I was finally connected with a worker, who was not totally aware of the tool sale and how it applied... and Then that's when Bernadette appeared, 'a LIVE Support Desk Rep' :) She was very thorough, truly knowledgeable and informed us of the brands, applicable sales details, as well the proper accessories for each choice tool... Bernadette's informative input helped me to make the Best Decision in my purchase and Now, I feel More Confident in completing my Home's DIY (with all these tools I may start my own Youtube Channel,,, Stay Tuned!!)PS: A loving Shout Out to the gentleman customer who was able to confirm various accessories best fitted for my purchase!! This became a 'Pleasantville' experience that the Home Depot Staff and Community were friendly and helpful!!

They had what I was looking for but it was extremely difficult to find. I had two associates helping me. It wasn't in the bin as advertised on the website. Nor was it located with similar items. Very bad placement for safety cup hooks.

Drove 11 miles to get a Ryobi battery for my blower. Had to ask twice and they called for an associate, but they didn't bother to show up. Left empty handed. Ordered off Amazon instead.

Signage is helpful throughout the large store.Customer service is also good at this Matteson, IllinoisHome Depot store.Expect long walks too different departments throughout the store.If I am in the rear of the store looking for an item, it is very hard to find a customer service person.More than likely I will have to walk all the way to the front of the store to find staff.A front desk staff person will call a customer service person to my original location at the back of the store.

I selected flooring (PE wood & carpet) from Home Depot in Matteson, IL to be installed throughout my entire house. Home Depot scheduled an appointment for today for someone to come measure my floor space. I was told someone would call the morning of the appointment to let me know the time the measurer would be out between 8AM-5PM. About 11AM the day of, someone called to reschedule my appointment to another day. They left a message & I immediately returned the call & spoke with a representative. Because my schedule is tight, and for me, this is a red flag of future delays, I told the representative I’d be shopping elsewhere & that I’d like my deposit for the measurements refunded. I was told I needed to go back into the store for my debit card to be refunded (additional time from my day). When I spoke with the manager (Mario) about my experience & concerns, his only response was “unfortunately, life happens & these things happen”. There wasn’t even an apology or any explanation about why I needed to return to the store for a refund. I am disappointed, as I am looking forward to replacing all the flooring in my house right away. However, speaking with this manager further confirmed the lack of customer service & accountability at Home Depot. My plan after installing flooring is to paint the entire house & have window treatments installed this year. Unfortunately, I won’t be shopping at Home Depot

8:30 Sunday morning and not one checkout register open. There were three employees standing and texting near the self checkout so they could be of assistance if I needed any help doing their job. This place is ridiculous now. Will stick with Menards.
